So when you guys gonna tell us what your working on? Im holding out on mods till you guys start making R56 parts, Ive heard so much great stuff about the work you do on R53's.
If I could guess what your working on... maybe a new Intake Manifold?

The first thing I do when my car gets back to the states is a big turbo kit. Im thinking Garrett GT3071R. If there isnt one on the market by then, im doing what I can myself, outsourcing the rest.

Im looking for mid to low 12's in the quarter on pump gas and drag radials
Don't need a 3071 for that..... just good driving
I would go with a smaller turbo and have a much better overall driving car that will be fast on the road course too

A smaller turbo with a quicker spool would be better suited for road courses, and I could see how that would be more fun on the street. I cant wait to really start exploring the limits of this engine, only problem is im stuck here in Germany till next year

I totally agree, a nice reliable 300whp with power throughout most of the rpm band would be perfect....what do you think is the perfect upgraded turbo for that?

I have my theories but time will tell. What I will tell you is a much smaller turbo than what most are thinking
