fog light help please

im sure there is a thread about this but i can only find ones for the add on fogs.

i have an 02justa cooper but i do have the factory fog lights on the lower side of the bumper. i drive a lot at night an around here there are many roads that are very dark where fogs do help out a lot

i need some help. i just got the car and honestly dont know much about the electrical.
im looking into getting some sort of replacement maybe some yellows 3000k HIDs or maybe brighter yellow bulbs. do i need a whole new replacement or can i just switch the bulb? do i have to take the bumper off to get to them?

somebody help me

thanks :D i apologize if theres already a thread on this

fog light bulb should be a 55 watt, H7. So any H7 should fit.
{others note, in 7/2004 was changed to H11 bulb}

easiest access is thru the wheel well, pulling part of liner out of the way

you might want to consider adding a set of driving lights tho as that's really what you want for the conditions you describe.
