Your MINI Garage

At the request of NAM user Cred, we thought we'd ask, what's your MINI garage look like? Here's a few of mine...

I can't get involved in this thread. I haven't got the dough to deck out my garage like that. I use it for too many other things in the drive to be practical. At least that is my excuse. I don't do my own wrenching and haven't for years. Plus I have a wife. (Married for 29 years so I must be doing something right.)

So I can't participate.

But I wish I did have a garage like that.

Thats crazy nice. Can you use a jack on that flooring? I'm in the process of finishing my garage and am researching floor options. I don't have nearly the room you do but still want something nice.

That is awesome!!!!! All I have is a 20X32 metal carport. Wife has the attached house carport. Although it doesn't get too cold down here in Alabama so working in the port isn't too bad, Except for this morning it was a whopping 27 degrees. Cold for this place.
I'm already over this winter stuff and it hasn't yet begun. Seems to get colder here every year.

I've lived in my current house for 20 years and the garage has always been good enough for my Mazda, 3 Jeeps, Toyota, Audi, Trooper, Silverado, and VW but I got the MINI in September and last week started to "Pimp my garage". Will post pictures after I finish the floor this weekend.

Do you have an extra space? I'm in Chicago and this is what my garage looks like currently:

Good timing...

I just finished the room attached to our 2 car garage- Forgot to take pictures but uploaded this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w72EhHUVlFc

This room allows me to keep only the cars in the garage so there's plenty of room to work on them ; )

You remind me of me except the opposite. Ha!

This was finished about a year ago and the pictures were taken last December, except for the outside shot with the new Caddy in it. It's more decorated and organized inside now. And my new 4-post lift is waiting to be assembled.

Hahaha! It looks like Squirlz's garage is larger than his house! That would probably be my case too, if I had more free time!

It IS bigger than the house! I'm very lucky to have married a "car chick" who shares my dreams.

All of these are great garages! Mine is such a pit with too much stuff in it - but at least I have some posters on the wall. And funny story: the previous owner has some racing posters on the wall when my wife bought the house and never bothered to take them down. 5 years later we met and ... got married and sold my house. Anyway, one of the posters is Michael Schumacher racing in a Benetton!

Otherwise, our garage is a disaster.

hmm...yeah, not gonna be posting any pics of MY garage on this thread. (with its piles of pool toys, Christmas decorations, and leftover bits of furniture) But do want to know how high the garage ceilings have to be for a lift to work, and the black and white floor in the first post--are those just peel and stick vinyl tiles?
