General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Got mine about 3 weeks ago and loving it. Makes my commute very fun. This is a view from my apartment window after bringing up some groceries before we hunker down for the big snow here in the NY Metro area.
Greetings & Congrats to All--new (expecting) member here! After years of debate, test drives, and more debate. We finally bit the bullet and ordered our MINI. It'll be nice to get out of our '84 VOLVO Wagon (which is blue too). ETA on our Lightning blue "TITAN" is 2/27/13. We've been tracking it on the cargo ship since it left Southhampton, the North Atlantic, and through the Panama Canal. Albeit, "out of range" according to the AIS maritime satalite, we estimate it's in the Baja Mex region just about now. Local port is restricted-no access. However, we just received autho from local port authorities granting a tour as we're hoping to get up close & personal to the cargo vessel bringing in our MINI before it makes it through the BMW Processing Center and way before it goes to the dealership. Tsk, tsk, tsk,...we seem to know more on the wherabouts of our MINI than our MA. Being able to track TITAN on the cargo ship has certainly been a fun way to follow along. Makes it an adventure for the entire family. Will post pix asap.
