Just wanted to say, I bought a pair of these in tan for my 2008 R56 and the fit is very poor. Too much of a gap up close to the accelerator pedal - about two inches too short with about a 1/4 inch lip at that point. This in effect allows dirt and debris to accumulate in that area and even to spill over into the carpeted area. I today for the first time have pulled the driver's side liner out to clean the car and there was much dirt down in, around and under that point of the liner. It was a mess. It is better than nothing but I think the OEM rubber mats would do as good a job as the liners. The liners should come up higher on the inside near the accelerator, up near the center console to protect that area. That to me is the benefit of a liner and is what I see on most of the weather tech liners. Unfortunately, the photos of this liner are not the best on their website and once I received them realized that these only come up about an inch in that area. Not much more than an OEM rubber mat. What this leads to is dirty smears where your foot contacts the center area which in my car is black plastic. That photo above is NOT what they do on the MINI R56. Not even close. I thought about sending them back and had in fact contacted them and received an approval and shipping label but had to hold onto them because the local MINI dealer did not have any rubber mats in stock and we started to get a lot of rain and mud so was pretty much forced to keep using them rather than nothing. i think these need a redesign and until then, I cannot recommend them for the R56.
