I LOVE the chrome grill with the driving lamps! Makes me wish I hadn't ordered the 'S'.

I couldn't wait for the 2012's. So, I bit the bullet and found one about 120 miles from home. Equipped with most of the options I wanted minus the Nav. Nothing a portable gps and craven mount cant fix . My 2 y/o twins named my car "Shadow". We love riding in Shadow and how much better on gas it is compaired to the SUV we traded in. I just need to tint the windows and swap the long remote control car looking antenna for a stubby. I'm enjoying every minute!!

Here is ours after I had the windows tinted last weekend. If you look closely over the headlight, you can see a bumble bee that was flying over the front. I thought it was cool, so I left it.

My mini is a maxi....

I have my Mini - Max, the countryman - since May, and I am still having trouble getting used to the size. Its huge compared to my old 2006 (space blue with white roof) model. And the gas mileage and the "pick-up" (sprintability) on pull outs is not nearly as good. I did not get the S version of the CM as I did not have the S version of the MINI..... I really needed a 4 door, but miss the MINIness of my MINI!!!!

Kiwirob,
what color is your CM? It looks great. I would consider it over my other half's choice.

The Blue Bomber has arrived

Well, after 9 LONG weeks, the BlueBomber is finally here. Arrived at the dealer 5/31, and I took delivery 6/4. It's everything I hoped it would be, and I am enjoying every minute of driving it. This weekend, I took it on the first long trip, (over 400 miles, 70 - 75 MPH cruising), and I was able to get over 32 MPG, which I thought was great. Better yet, it's ALMOST as fun to drive as my Miata, and gets BETTER mileage. Not a rattle or squeak yet, and the adaptive lights are a great option to have. As far as the cost is concerned, the car listed for $34,960, and I paid $33,390. A discount of $1,560 off of list. I thought that was great for a car ordered exactly to the specification I wanted.

My new CM is surf blue with the white roof. Its funny- it looks different in different light/weather conditions. I like it.

Yep thats the surf blue. the dealer did not apply my white racing stripes right away, and I will go back and have them applied later this summer. at first I was not sure I wanted racing stripes... .... i'm not the racing type..... at 60, but as I have seen others with the stripes, I am changing my mind. any opinions on whether 60 yr old grannies should have racing stripes???

60 year old grannies can do anything they want to except talk and text on the cell while driving. Stripes would look fantabulous

Sixty-year old here with stripes. You're only as old as you feel.

Nice day in DC today - - -

I guess when your'e 64 you tend go go with the more radical. I have a black jack sunroof graphic and mirror caps. Looking for stripes that will work, more like white, black & grey.

Met Ji-Hoo at the MINI dealership last Saturday! Oddly enough, he had just gotten there that past Monday. Talk about spook-eh! Initially, I had hoped to find a Countryman in white with a sunroof, but Ji-Hoo was just too handsome! ^.^ I decided to go with the name of a character from a Korean drama...just to be different

Add me to the list folks...

I was a proud member of the Chili Red Clubman club but have now joined the ranks of Absolute Black Countryman ownership.

Here are some first photos, before the stripes and mods begin.

Wow, the tints look great! What % did you do? Maybe 35% front, and 20% back??
