Keep the price within reason and I think you will have a winner with the carbon fibre.

They look great.

Are they direct replacements (well, obviously the downtubes are!) or do most of those pieces simply apply with 3M tape? Such as the B-Pillars...just "snap over existing pillar, tape holds it in place" or do I need to remove existing parts and REPLACE with these carbon fiber parts?

Let us know when they are ready for sale. They'd look great in my Jet black mini with black leatherette!

Rock On,

-Joe

I have a question. Seeing as how CF is so much tougher than the plastic that MINI uses to make the dash, how will that work with the passenger side airbag? If it goes off, will the passenger get a faceful of CF at the speed of an expanding airbag?
That could be somewhat disconcerting, I would imagine.

Would the airbag cover have to be installed by a dealer? I didn't know that was a piece that we common people could mess with.

CTD-Germany,
Just a suggestion: When you post an exciting new product like this, stick around for a little while afterward (even just 10 minutes!) and answer a few basic questions. I think you'd end up generating a lot more enthusiasm for the products that way.

Couldn't agree more. I would do it in a second if the price is right. Hint Hint Hint

Ok guys,

we start the offering of the carbon fiber interior kit. (dash kit only for now)
The price is not cheap, but the parts are handmade with real carbon fiber.

Some more details coming this week.

Still, the question remains....

Are these complete replacements for OEM pieces?
-or-
Cover-up stickers (laminates)?

Carbon fiber to me is ugly, costly, fails to make you faster, and looks very cheap. When I see it I always wonder who the owner is trying to impress. It is like saying I'm to cheap to buy a can of paint.

Motor on.

Sorry to bring up an old post but......

Does anybody know if these parts are still available? I just sent a PM to CTD, hopefully he will respond. I checked with the local Hamann distributor (So Cal) and they wanted $7500.00 for the "full carbon interior kit"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
