(SOLD) Work VS-XX 17x7.5ET41 - Custom!*

* currently on the boat from Japan..brand new obviously. Asking what I have in them....$1950.

These were ordered in December....I love them, but Nathan's HRE's are calling my name. Help me help him by buying these from me. These should arrive the first week of May or so (last update from Rick at RavSpec). If I have someone lined up, these will dropship from RavSpec - we might even be able to work it where you pay RavSpec (and they then refund me) so there's no extra shipping involved. Don't quote me on that...need to ask them first.

This is a custom set - matte charcoal centers with polished lip and black bolts. This is the closest pic I have (imagine black bolts and that's them....ignore the blue plastic rim protector).

random shot (gold and black I think):

black on a MINI in 18":

silver and 18":

Err... Have I seen that MINI somewhere before.

Really nice wheel, everyone can trust me on this.

yeah.....I love them. I'm sticking with 'Plan A' and will be 100% happy about unless someone else wants to roll them. I've got RE01-R's sitting in the shed for them, new 18" Avon's for my wife's Volks she hated (also for sale but 5x114.3)....something needs to get sold in order for me to do the HRE's (I'd prefer the Volks, but might stick them away in a closet for when I get an '08+ STI).

I'm told 20lbs for the 17". For a multi-piece wheel...not too bad. If weight is the main goal, there are better options out there for much less (like the Enkei NT03+M I have on the car now).

Wow...was looking for the SAME wheel last fall and even talked to MAXICOOPER...until I saw the price....ouch...but very nice. I still have those stupid 16" sidewinders on my 07 DS MCS..nasty shoes...but haven't decided on new ones yet...been looking at ASA AR1's since I like BBS style, but not their price.

I will do some soul searching and see if there is a way...I need some new shoes bad!....

Thanks, so these must come it at least 21-22 lbs. I just can't see spending big $ for a heavy wheel. I'm an admitted "Weight Weanie" when it comes to rotating, unsprung mass. They do look nice, though.

no, they come in at what I said. These are 17's (same weight as the lightest OEM wheel, the R91). I'll put $100 on the table that you couldn't discern a 20lb wheel from a 16lb wheel (on my car).

Sorry - read too quickly and thought you said the 17x7 was 20lbs. My bad.

That wheel test would be fun. With stock torque I know I could tell the difference. On your car, well... it might take me a while...

I assume you are thinking the matte charcoal is similar in color to the Dark Silver Mini?

it's not perfect but with a polished lip, it doesn't need to be.

Dang you go through more wheels than the times I have to fill up for gas!

But either way bump for a sweet set of wheels, and Nathan...well he has my ultimate dream wheels, other than the Hamann PG4, good luck with the HRE, you know I wanted them too!
