Weekend Drive to Prescott, Arizona
The Sin City MINI Club has set this year's weekend drive to Prescott, Arizona.
We will drive to Prescott on Friday, June 6, and return Sunday, June 8th.
I have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western Prescottian in downtown
Prescott for Friday and Saturday nights. The rate is $95 + tax for two people,
with each additional person $10 extra. This rate includes a hot breakfast buffet
each day. If you would like to go, please call the hotel directly at
928-445-3096 and ask for the Sin City MINI Club group rate (group #100947).
Reservations need to be made by May 15.
Planned activities will include a drive on Saturday to Jerome on Highway 89A,
possibly continuing on to Sedona. We will return to Prescott for dinner and
drinks on Whiskey Row (http://www.whiskeyrow.us/history.html). On Sunday, we
will check out the 35th Annual Folk Arts Fair, along withe the Territorial Days
Arts and Crafts Show before heading back through Bagdad, Arizona and the famous
'twelve miles of terror".
Please let me know if you are planning on coming so I can keep an updated list.
See you soon!

OMG Kurt, They are coming to our town.
I never have time to go to Phoenix for events. Looks like Clubby Otto may get to join in on the roads he knows.
Now I am excited as I couldn't go to AMIV.
YAY. I'm shutting my shop up to do this. So much better than working.
Welcome to Arizona SIN City! Watch the speed through PV!!!

I now have the routes for the weekend drive up on my web page:

Remember, the hotel rate is only good until May 15. Please let me know when you have booked your room so I'll know who's going.
Thanks,
Steve

hotel rate extended
I have gotten the hotel in Prescott to extend the $95 hotel rate to May 22. The normal rate is $129. If you are thinking of going, make your reservations soon. Call the hotel directly at (928) 445-3096 and ask for the Sin City MINI Club group rate (group #100947).

Alright Now I've got to get some Sin City people off their butts and make their reservations, or there's going to be more Arizona people on our run than SCMC people. Actually, this may be the biggest turnout for a weekend run we've ever had.

Not that I'm aware of Agro, it's just a street with ALOT of saloon style bars thats located in the downtown square. I will be heading up Sat morning from Phx (hopefully with some others) for the Sedona run. We will be staying with you guys Sat night for the 12 miles of terror run on Sunday, then double back do it again and head home to Flagstaff by way of 89A. If any of you in Prescott would like to join me in sending the SCMC off by way of the terror let me know I will always enjoy the company, besides doing the 12 miles of terror alone is not the best idea.

I am game for whatever...I live out in Prescott Valley... its about a 15 minute drive to the hotel where everyone is staying...
As for Whiskey Row, yes some places brew their own beer, im not sure about the Whiskey...and the crowd that usually is there is uh yeah, its Prescott... As for Runs and everything that you guys are going on, is there a schedule? Ive never been on this "terror" and i am throughly enjoying just the thought of it.

The general runs are here: http://www.members.***.net/steve_lv/..._LV_index.html
Don't hold us to the times however, we keep these trips pretty loose. We may not go all the way to Sedona on Saturday, or we may go to Sedona and come back the way we came so we can run 89A through Jerome again.
