My Baby is in the Paint Shop
Hi Everyone!
I ordered my new Cooper on May 26th. I'm happy to report that it's now in the paint shop (getting a nice coat of Chili Red w/white roof) and that it should have final assembly and quality check completed by early next week.
The whole process is moving along nicely...more quickly than I had hoped for...I may have a premie!
Thanks for the info on tracking. 866-ASK-MINI had volumes more info than the OL.
I'm a West Coast delivery, so a conservative estimate for delivery to port here is mid July. I can't wait!

Congratulations!! I just learned today that my MINI is in the body shop and should be completed 6/9 or 6/10. I'm also out on the West Coast so we'll probably be getting our cars around the same time. From what I researched it looks like the boats for the West Coast leave 6/11 and 6/25, so the latest they would come over would be the end of July. Can't wait!!

The ASK-MINI rep told me yesterday that he predicts that it will be on the West Coast by July 20th! That may be optimisic, but the sooner the better!
