Still Looking

My current vehicles are a 2003 Triumph Bonneville America on which I average 10-12,000 miles a year, and a 2001 Blazer that is driven 5-6,000 miles per year. My wife has a 2006 Focus. Besides getting about 17 mpg the Blazer is just boring. I'm looking at a 2007 S Coupe because I want a little fun back in my driving. I'm trying to figure out how to get this one past the wife I test drove the S yesterday. Almost as much fun as the bike and a lot more practical. It goes like a scalded cat and corners like a go-kart The downside to this is, do I really need another vehicle that I look for excuses to drive and that I buy performance and shiny bits for?

Currently driving '01 Expedition and wanting to add a little fun to the fleet. Going to add an '07 MCS in the VERY near future. The Expedition will undoubtedly spend substantial time in the garage the rest of the summer!

Well, I can tell you from experience, the MCS is MUCH safer than the bike. I've yet to hear my wife say, "You're gona kill yourself on that thing" when I get into the MINI.

Let her know what your thinking about, let her take a test drive. She may just suprise you.

I'd bet that if you bought one and got involved with a local club, the bike would be sitting on alot of weekends.
