New MCS Cabrio Pure Silver sitting in my driveway.

Well it's official, I am now the proud owner of a Pure Silver w/blk bonnet stripes MCS Cabrio . I am also still the owner of a Silver and Black Jeep Rubicon Tomb Raider that was supposed to be sold before I took delivery of the MINI but it hasn't worked out that way .
So now I have to hope and pray that I can sell it before the first MINI payment is due.
But it is kind of nice to have two silver and black cars in the driveway.
The neighbors must think I'm rich, little do they know that I'm actually insane .

Now if I could find some extra cash for my ever expanding wish list of parts for the MINI..
  • Aero Kit
  • JCW Kit
  • JCW Black Rims
  • In-dash DVD w/Playstation 2
  • Strobes
  • Wet Okole seat covers
  • Custom graphics
  • Aux lights
This should cover my Birthday wish list.
Any sugar mommas out there looking for a someone to take care of, I'm your man .

Congrats, I'm picking up mine tonight.

By the way, we are both on the same boat. I was supposed to sell my 4runner before I got the mini. Mini is paid in full so now I have to go and sell the runner this weekend.

Good luck!

Exceptional picture

To bad you can't keep both of them. From the Rubi to a MINI, now that will be a driving experience. I sold new Jeeps for a bit in one of my 'hobby' jobs. Sold more Rubicons in 12 months than any other type Wrangler, I do love the Rubicon.

Good thing I'm not working a 'hobby' job selling MINIs.

Love your choice of cars, enjoy and drive fun.

Keep them both and breed them! Their offspring should be adorable.

I only wish that I could keep both.
I have had a Jeep in my driveway for over 30 years, it is going to be weird
not having one around.
I also find my self attempting to do the Jeep wave when I pass other Jeeps in
my Mini, but they all give me a strange look.

Too bad indeed...

I drove a Jeep (hard) on some logging roads in Alaska a couple of weeks ago - and decided that I just own one - but only after Blimey is paid for, which is no time soon... otherwise I might be interested... good luck - they WOULD make a great pair...

You live in Jeep heaven up there in North Carolina.
They have some fantastic offroad trails, some very close to the Dragon.
They even have two Jeep Jamborees within a short distance from each other.
The older I get the more on need to stay on the pavement and away from
any kind of off-roading, it takes too long to recover from all the aches and pains.

I have been waving... the only problem is that I keep getting confused.
I find that when I'm in my Jeep I wave at other Mini's and when I'm in my Mini
I wave at other Jeeps and so I keep getting a very confused look from the
other drivers.

Congrats on the new MINI!! I've always wanted a jeep but never pulled it off. I mentioned this post to my new wife with a pleading look on my face.
Her return look can not be explained on a family form!!

How strong is your marriage?
Could it handle you just showing up with a Jeep?

It is sometimes better to seek forgiveness then to grovel for permission.

Should this plan get you in any trouble I disavow any prior knowledge.

Off to see the Dragon

Well my car is officially broken in with 1300 miles on it .
So I guess it is time to break in the run-flats by taking it to see the Dragon this next Wednesday.

I would like to sincerely thank all my well-wishers .

Are there any opinions on using run-flats on the Dragon?
I've heard that they are not really up to par...

Off to slay the Dragon

Congrats on the MINI! Just got mine on Saturday. First trip in it to work today. Lots of excited co-workers really like it. I wonder how many MINI owners are also (or were) Jeep owners too. I'm in the same boat, trying to sell my 04 Wrangler Sport 4WD!! Pix in my gallery.

I think that the Mini and the Jeep share some similar owner traits.
One being the camaraderie found between owners of Jeeps seems to be
the same as what you find between owners of Minis.

And both groups seem to like to get together and just cruise around town.

I definitely don't want to sell my Jeep but financially I have no choice, I would love to keep both.

All my co-workers love my car, most are actually surprised to find out how roomy it actually is.
