New owner in the ATL
Hi. My name is Justin, and I am a Mini-aholic.
I recently purchased (from the original owner) an '03 MCS with just under 30k on the clock. She is silver/black on the outside with a panther black leather interior. She came equipped with premium, sport, and cold weather packages (was a New England vehicle - garaged winters).
I've already found the board to be indispenable, giving me direction with refitting a loose sunroof drain tube, fixing an inoperable seat back, and removing the accelerator pedal and other items to remove the carpet (to dry from leaky sunroof - also excellent opportunity to do a full interior detail).
Looking forward to many years of happy, if not uneventful, years of motoring,
Justin

Hey Justin, welcome to NAM! It sounds like you found a really well taken care of MINI. Good luck not modding it though If you havent already, you might want to check out the AtlantaMINI's website. We have events going on all the time, there is a drive to Helen, GA and a picnic on August 5th. Hope to see you there!

Geez, I walked away from the computer for a while, Baseball Tonight started on ESPN and I came back to the computer, glanced at your thread title and thought...
The Braves sold thier team ?!?!
Welcome to the board, Justin. Nice post, I can see you'll fit in well here.

I've noticed something odd this week. I wish my normal commute were longer. 10.5 miles just isn't enough time in the car, and what were twisty roads in my Tacoma don't even warrant a second thought. Clearly I need to move to the mountains and commute to Duluth.
I spoiled myself with the first drive being a trip through the N. GA mountains. DSC off, left foot braking, and wagging the tail all the way. Just can't do that on these 35 mph residential roads.

Welcome to NAM! Nice to see some more peeps from Atlanta area. Yep... my commute is too short too... sometimes I want to drive around in circles just to stay in the car longer.
Like Trinity said, our drive to Helen on August 5 sounds like it will be full of fun twisties and spirited driving... hope you can make it!
Happy motoring!
