Hello everyone. Thought I'd drop in and stop lurking. I bought my '07 PW MCS about a month ago off the lot. Since I didn't have the long wait I guess I'm not quite a full member of the club So far I've added black bonnet stripes, driving lights with black and white checker covers, factory ipod, add-on navigation, whalen shift machine, checker rear view mirror cover and JCW strut brace. I'm waiting on my H&R springs to arrive. Anyway, I'm glad to be a NAM member and am ecstatic to be a Mini driver. Here are a couple of pics before I started the mods.
Thanks. Good eyes. It is a Trailblazer SS. My main driver until the Mini came along, but now it is the wife's ride. We both love it. Way quicker than the Mini but as you can imagine it doesn't handle quite as well.
Great choice of color(s). I still have days I wish I had ordered the black top. Your going to be very happy with the way the car will ride and handle (and sit) once the
H& R springs are installed. Congratulations.

Welcome and now I want my next Mini to be pepper white - yours look great!
Thanks for all of the welcomes. Here are a couple recent pics (as in 10 minutes ago)
I like these shots, the driving lights look great. Dealer install? If so, how much for the lights and installation fee? If not, how long did it take you to do the install and how did you wire the switch?
I know, to many questions. Keep putting up the pictures, I'm sure you have some interior mods too.

No, all of my mods so far have been installed by me. I downloaded all instructions from motoringfile.com. The instructions said 1.5 hours for the driving lights install but it took me more like 4 hours at a relatively slow pace. The kit included the wiring for the switch which was also included. The most difficult part was running the wiring from inside the cabin through the firewall. Also, make sure you do not put the wires into the supplied connectors until you are ready to plug the connector in as there are some tight areas to run the wires throught that the connectors will not fit. Overall not difficult but time consuming; although the Nav installation was way easier.
Here are some interior pics - not the greatest as it is dark here. The steering wheel is going away shortly to be replaced by the JCW leather/alcantara one with the JCW carbon fiber insert on the bottom.
Some cams/headers will make that SS a different beast..
I know, but it is currently the wife's car and she is already complaining about the harsh first gear shift from the Vector Motorsport tuning. It only has a CAI and tuning, but I'm looking at electric fans and maybe once it is closer to the end of the warranty headers and ???. Possibly a cam or supercharger.
