Happy new MINI owners!
Good morning all --
My wife and I purchased a 2006 Purple Haze MINI Cooper about a month ago, and WE LOVE IT! What a fantastic little car...I tell friends and family, when driving the MINI one can't help but drive with big fat smile on their face
.
We bought it from a MINI dealer who told us a BMW executive drove it for about 7k miles and that's when they got it. It's been outfitted with more goodies than we would have ordered ourselves, but now that we have them, we love those extra goodies. And the best part, luckily for us even with all the extra packages outfitted, the car was ordered with the 5 spd manual transmission to keep that twisty road driving fun meter pegged.
We love the car and the motoring experience of driving our "new" MINI Cooper.

Sorry about the lo-quality photo in my gallery. I'll take some better quality pix this weekend and post them in the gallery.
We've only seen one other PH MINI since we've had the car...saw it last weekend on a motor through Solvang, CA. I think we (drivers of each car) were shocked to see another PH...ended up waving to each other (kewl
)...but seconds later when a MC convertable passed...driver just looked at me funny when I waved..

I have a friend who has a pickup painted in that odd Nike helmet green the Ducks went to a few years ago. He also has a bunch of Duck decals. I'm like, Mark, I hope you never have to go to Corvallis for anything. You'd just be asking for someone to key it or throw a rock through the window.
I've got to say, though, I love purple haze. It's a sharp color.
