My turn to post delivery pics!

I'm proud to announce the arrival of Nigel, my 07 MCSa. All I have to say is, Wow!, this car is so much fun. I took delivery on Saturday and this was the first chance I got to post pictures. I couldn't have asked for a better day, Sunny and cool, with no traffic to get in the way. There was almost a tragedy though, someone came inches away from backing into my car while my ma and I were inside going over stuff. I saw her and thought she was going to stop, but nope, so I got on the horn and luckily she stopped. I'm talking less than 3 inches away. I'ts a good thing she did't hit the car, because I may have been forced to kill her. (relax just kidding)
Without further ado here are the pics:

A couple things, I had the car heavily optioned and I wondered if some of the things weren't worth the money, here's my take on it. Audio package was definitely worth it, it sounds great and I love sirius. I had it in my previous car, so I had to have it in here. Xenons are worth it, they have much better visibility. The Nav is amazing. The reason why it's worth the money is because it's not just nav it does so many other things that make the car that much better. Anthracite headliner is a must, the interior wouldn't look nearly as good with the gray top. The english oak and chrome interior look really good with the BRG too. I love the comfort access too, not having to mess with a key is great. It seems like such a gimick, but now I can't have a car without it. Mini spoiled me.

To be honest, every option is great. There is nothing that I wouldn't get the next time around.

A couple of quirks I noticed is that I have the weeping washer nozzle problem. Sometimes there is a trail coming from the nozzles, I'm not sure if it's fluid or cosmoline, but I will do some more research on that. I also have a slight rattle in the driver door somewhere, not all the time, mostly when it's cold.

Apparently my car is so popular that I already caught someone trying to steal it, I was able to get a pic:

I'm really happy with it as you can tell.

Nice! Very nice.

I also noticed the weeping washer nozzle problem from the beginning. Since I read factory washer fluid may stain the racing strip, I empty it and refill with water only just to be on the safe side.

Enjoy the ride and prepare to explain the features of your Mini to a lot of people.

Great looking MINI! I love the BRG and the english oak looks a lot better than I thought it would. By the way, I wouldn't recommend putting water in your windshield washer system... it could freeze in northern Virginia and I'm not sure what kind of problems that might cause.

What a great looking car!! It's a good thing you got that guy trying to take your new ride. He looks like the type that would have gone and picked up some of his buddies and went joy riding and chased a couple cats.

Awesome pictures! Good looking MINI; congratulations!

I'm sure you and your canine companion will have a blast driving around.

Question, you apprear to have three buttons (toggles) right behind the Auto box shifter, what are those? Navigation perhaps?

Thanks for sharing..

Great looking MINI. Looks very similar to mine - but you have a few more options - wish I had rear fogs - like the looks from the back better..Enjoy!

Congrats! Very nice. It's a shame that Virginia still insists that those stupid tax & inspection stickers be put on the front windshield. The MINI's windshield is small enough already.

Congrats! Nigel looks great!

I see the checkered door sills are visible- your thief wanted the car so bad, he forgot to shut the door! (Or maybe it's the lack of thumbs? )

Very nice, great pictures. I'm sure the thief was not really trying for the MINI, you must have left a doggie bone on the seat.

Nigel, seems to fit the BRG MCSa. I like your option selection, sharp.

Those are for the nav system. And it's 2 buttons and 1 joystick.

Thanks everyone, I really like how everything came out. The colors work well together. I have to thank the wife for that one, I was so close to getting yellow with black, but now I couldn't see it without the green. And I just had to get the oak with the green.

Wow, so that is what my mini is going to look like when I get it!

I got the same exterior as you did. Mine should be arriving at the dealer very soon. I'm sure I will be as excited as you were to pick it up.

Gratz! Enjoy the ride.

I caught my dog in the car again. He likes to jump in the driver seat when the door is open in the garage.

I like that dog.

Great looking Mini! congrats.

I also had the leaking washer fluid from the jet, but that has stopped over time. Not sure how/why, but it definitely does not happen anymore.

Enjoy!
