Newish to NAM
Hello all,
I recently purchased my 2007 Lightning Blue MCS that I've named Mr. Blue (think Quentin Tarantino). It was right off the lot and was very close to what I had configured anyhow. So far, I love this car. My wife still thinks it's too small, and with my two kids in the back, it is a little tight, but the truth is, my last car was small and they only ride in it when necessary.
I live in CT in the Hartford area and if I see you, I'l be sure to give a wave.
-Rob

Newish? Is that a new religion?
I love this picture!
Mr. Blue and two admirers.
Hey, my kids are ages 16 and 20 and they get to ride in the back seat of my MINI. Sometimes.

Just in time for winter was actually on my mind when I decided to buy the car. I had an old v6 Cougar that was paid off, but the winter driving with it was awful, the rear defroster didn't work and in the 3 bad snow storms I drove in last year it was with every warning light on and not much in the way of brakes. I figured it was either throw another $1000 at the cougar to keep it through the winter or get the MINI now, with heated seats and all. I think I'll thank myself when it starts getting cold out here.
