OL was updated this morning to say that my MINI was En Route. Maybe they only do the updates once a week or something.

 

Probably they wait to see if the boat sinks on the way over

I had an e-mail from my MA this afternoon when I got back in (just a few minutes ago) and he says the ship my MINI is on is due in port on the 22nd. So it MUST be the Frisia. After that he says around 5-6 days and she will be there. I am thinking maybe pickup will be Dec 1. OHMYGOSH! I can hardly believe it!

I don't know which is the worst source of info ...
My MA left a message for me today stating that my car will be at the dealership on Thanksgiving and I should be able to pick her up on Monday (11/26). However, WW still shows me aboard the Boheme, which set sail yesterday and is not due into NY until 11/23!

 

I wouldn't believe the MA for a minute especially when you know exactly where the ship is and when it will arrive.

 

Yeah, but why does she (my MA) want to tease me like that!

 

Maybe she likes you and wants to see you again.

 

FWIW, my MINI actually departed Southampton on 11/13 and today (11/16) is when the OL updated me to "EN ROUTE."

He called me last Friday to tell me my car was at the VDC and would be here in two weeks. I questioned him about it since I knew my car sailed on the Fidelio on 11/05. He put me on hold...(put his hand over the reciever) and asked the sales mgr.
He tried to convince me he was right..I told him that I know for a fact my car would not be Denver prior to 12/3. It wasn't even set to arrive in CA until 11/26-3 days in VDC, 7 days transport to Denver.

Well see who was right......LOL

I too wanted to beleive him...but reality set in and I know there is no way that car will be there Thanksgiving week.

Just got a call from the business manager at the dealership ... looks like the ship is gonna arrive on time (23rd in Charleston) and has a shot to make it to the dealership by the end of the month ... about 1-2 weeks sooner than estimated!!

Glad Im selling my other car on Sunday ...
