You can hear sound samples and purchase a horn here
Or get a cheap one from somewhere like here.[/qu
Welcome to the Fidelio waiting room. Thanks for the horns. Some of those were really funny . I'm leaning towards that bullhorn.
Sorry about your and Marg's experience with the dealers. It's unfortunate that some of them don't represent the MINI brand with the pride it deserves.
Enjoy that new baby and don't forget those pix
I just spoke with Michael in Mountain View (not my MA but much nicer). He said that the truck came in today and that my mini would probably be ready tomorrow!
Yay for Moutain View Miniers!
NO WAY!!!!!! I left a message with Mike and didn't hear back from him. TOMORROW!???!?! You just made my day! The guy who was going to buy my old car flaked out and that made be cranky so this is wonderful news!!!
Tomorrow would be fantastic! I am wondering if my driving lamps were installed at the VDC or if they have to do them in Mtn View? And how much time does it take to install them, anyway?
My MA says that my MINI is coming in the next few hours and should be ready tomorrow! Are we all getting our MINIs simultaneously?
JillBean is your birthday today? Happy Birthday! Mine was last Wednesday. Everyone post your pictures.
OK----so up here in Portland, Wolf and I are not only jealous but confused. While you guys are getting your Minis, now we are being told sometime between the 10th and 15th of December. Last time I drove between Portland and Los Angeles I don't recall it taking two weeks. Oh Well. We'll just live vicariously through your joy. Steve

Two weeks seems like an unreasonable amount of time to get from Oxnard to Portland. Those estimates are probably including a hefty amount of buffer time. But still...
LOL Never mind guys -- multiple last names, so they got the cars mixed up. My car DOES NOT have a nail in it and I'm picking up tomorrow at 4pm......and there's no doubt I will have pictures up here asap! It's been a great journey everyone.

That is great that it's not your car with the nail in the tire!!
Then we got to go talk with the money guy who will offer you about 10 different things. We took him up on the 6 years maintenance deal since I go through a set of brake pads every year driving up and down the mountain. I'm also considering the ceramic window tint - it really seems to block out the heat.
All in all we shelled out another $2500 (but we got to put it on our Disney card! Free points!!!)
