I am wondering if anybody knows, since some cars, like mine, are still in production, which vessels will be shipping soon. Is there a roster of ships scheduled to set sail from Southampton?

You can check the WW site to see which ships are scheduled as follows:
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...countryList.do
Origin Country -> UK, Destination Country -> U.S.A.
Origin Port -> Southampton, Destination Port -> Port Hueneme, CA (if you're in the west), OR NYC OR Charleston, SC (if you're in the east)
[search]

Using Port Hueneme as my example destination gives:
SOUTHAMPTON10/12/2007 PORT HUENEME, CA31/12/2007 TASCO ED749-TCO21 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON17/12/2007 PORT HUENEME, CA07/01/2008 MADAME BUTTERFLY ED750-MBU21 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON30/12/2007 PORT HUENEME, CA24/01/2008 DON JUAN ED752-DOJ25 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON07/01/2008 PORT HUENEME, CA27/01/2008 TARIFA ED801-TFA20 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON21/01/2008 PORT HUENEME, CA10/02/2008 ISOLDE ED803-ISO20 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON28/01/2008 PORT HUENEME, CA17/02/2008 AIDA ED804-ADA20 Book It
SOUTHAMPTON04/02/2008 PORT HUENEME, CA25/02/2008 ASIAN EMPEROR ED805-ASM21 Book It

Dates are all Day/Month/Year (european style).

I'm no help with the other shipping lines. :(

Well, our MINIs should all be safe and sound on dry ground now! Now the hardest part....waiting for them to arrive at their respective dealers. If you have a good MA, they will keep you informed as to when they expect to take delivery, and most importantly, when they will have your MINI ready for you to pick up!

Neal, you have been great with providing links and info...thanks! Btw, that is so cool the way you posted the animated photo/video of AIDA at the locks.

K61, we love the video that you put together too! Thank you so much for taking the time to write the program, and share the video with us here. Awesome!

Nice to see some more folks on here waiting with us. I wonder who will get their's first....hmmmm....

The WW site is showing the AIDA as having left Port Hueneme, but when tracking my vehicle, the last activity (dated November 13th) shows "LOADED ON VESSEL." Is anyone showing as having been unloaded?

Glad my links have been useful! I feel fortunate that folks before me came along and figured all this out. I've basically just been reposting their knowledge for everyone else's benefit.

Impatience costs me again. Now the WW site lists my vehicle's status as the slightly-disburbing "DISCHARGED." Let's hope it was an honorable discharge.

Ours is showing as "delivered from" also on the WW site. We ordered the aerokit, which is installed at the VDC. I just spoke with our MA and he said it's taking about 5 days for the aerokit install. They're expecting the car next week, and will let us know when it's loaded on the truck (probably Tues or Wed). After it gets to the dealer, they'll take care of the dealer installed options, clean him up real nice, and then we get to bring him home!

Woo-hoo, Wally's brother is almost here!!

Getting close here, as well! My MA sent me an email today letting me know that arrival in Denver is scheduled for 11 December, and that they'll take "up to a week" to get her in shape for me. He's been extremely conservative with his time estimates, so I'd imagine I'm looking at 12 or 13 December to take delivery!! The dealership is installing driving lights, mud flaps, and the glove box organizer.

Can't. Wait!

I got a call Monday from my sales guy wanting to set up an appointment to pick up the car. The earliest we could set it up for was Thursday at noon, so I took it.

Hope everyone else gets their cars safely!

You've beat me. My estimation for delivery at the dealership was yesterday, but we've been getting the snow (not nearly as bad as points east of us, however) all weekend, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed. My MA sent me an email at 5pm yesterday and it didn't mention anything about it arriving. So a couple of days to clean everything up and do their PDI, then a day of installing driving lights, mud flaps, and moving the microphone from the right to the left side, and it's looking like I should receive delivery early next week.

Be sure to get some photos and give us your first impressions!

Still. Can't. Wait!

Picking up the little guy on Friday morning. He actually made it to the dealer on Tuesday. Getting windows tinted and clear bra now. Thursday will get the driving lights, ski rack, and Ipod adapter put in. Has anyone else seen the new side scuttles? They come in the union jack, black jack, checkered, and JCW. I guess they pop on and off pretty easy, probably will get the union jack ones. Anybody else with experience with them? Can't wait for the car, hope everyone else gets theirs safe and sound!

Bummer news. My MA says that the delivery estimate to the dealership has been pushed back to 12/15, and that since the receiving guys aren't in on the weekends and since he doesn't work Mondays, no new status for me (from him) until 12/18. :( I could always call sooner, I suppose.

I'm holding him to his statement (last week) that I'll have it by Christmas. This is the first time in the process that any of the estimates have slipped -- I've been spoiled to this point.

I want photos and first impressions cubeball and K61!!

Nice looking MINI Cue!

We're still without an answer. Here we sit closer to the VDC than anyone and still no MINI. We hope to have it by x-mas but we will see.

Sounds like the folks at the VDC need to put in a few late nights and get us our MINIs.

Don and Lori, you better go over that mini with a fine toothed comb. It may be delayed at the VDC because of some damage done in shipping.

Got mine!

I picked up my car on Thursday. Here's a picture of my daughter, my mom (up for a visit) and me as we tested the convertible top. I won't be doing that again up here in the Pacific Northwest until the summer time.

It was great fun tracking our cars from Oxford to the US with all of you. I hope you all enjoy your cars and have a happy holidays!

Me! Unfortunately I've fallen down on the job of getting photos (my wife graciously snapped a bunch on her cell phone after my camera ran out of juice after the very first dealership photo), but she's been either entertaining out-of-town family or sick in bed since we got back from the dealership. Either I'll get some photos taken and posted, or she'll upload what she's got, and then I'll share.

I'll detail my first weekend experience in "my" thread (linked in my signature) shortly. Sneak preview: (of course!)

Glad to hear you got your MINI Neal! Awesome! I was born and raised in Denver, actually dated a gal who lived in Longmont back in high school (late 80's). I'm sure heading down Hover road and up towards Estes will be a fun drive soon!

Yes, please share some pic's!

Has anyone bought those new side scuttles yet? I've ordered the Union Jack ones, but haven't picked them up from the dealer.

Merry Xmas!

Okay, I cave to the pressure of folks wanting a photo and will share one I'm not all that impressed with. Just an iPhone photo from the garage (me in my socks, inches of snow falling into the driveway behind me). Better photos in the future -- I promise!
