Ace... do you fit your clubs in the Mini? They ride shotgun or do you put the seats down? Don't tell me you have your gear and Club Car stabled off the practice range?

Ha Ha! Put the seats down, clubs & push cart in boot. Walk the course every time, not very hilly.I've made 2 ACES there. Just got the push cart a couple years ago. Before that I carried my clubs The only time I ride is when I visit my brother's course where he's works as club pro! The lucky s*%.

So, there are very few 49ers left without their cars! I'm making the trek tomorow to pick up my new MINI!It's been a loong wait. Who's left still waiting, and has anybody not reported in yet?

Sounds like most of us on the west coast are still waiting... I can think of about five of us. I may see mine by Friday the 18th.

Another note. I'm really not digging the wheel gap - makes it look like an SUV. Can anyone confirm that the shocks will settle a bit after a break in period?

Greetings from "R53 Week 51 Support Group".

Is there a Houston/Woodlands yellow Cooper owner in your group?

I'm the red Cooper S (apparently 10 days older than yours, based on the dates of our paper license plates) that parked next to you at the restaurant during lunch today.

I've sent this same message to week 50.

Consider this a wave.

My Mini delivered condensed version:
First thing I noticed, no front mud flaps
Next, no rear fogs!
We got 'free' rubber floor mats (nice mats, btw) and they took $400 off the price of the
accessories(got free install when I ordered).Could've reordered, but...
Drove 'er home.
pics in gallery.

Ace, I assume you configured for rear fogs and front flaps? That BITES. Are they willing to work with you to install those rear fogs or is it too late?

Definitely, configurator says flaps front and rear.Rear fogs were on my order too. There wasn't much discussion about install of fogs later. Guess I'll look into that.
When we ordered first MINI flaps were on the order, they were not installed. We weren't charged for them ( and dealer wanted $200 to install) so we didn't even mention it. I ordered a front set from OutMotoring and put them on myself. really easy to do. 2 wks. later MA called and said your mud flaps are in! Mailed them to us @ no charge, so I have a spare set to put on our new S.
First MINI ordered through Mini of St. Louis (200 mi). This time we went with Patrick Min in Schaumburg,Ill (250 mi). St. Louis had $500 dealer prep fee + wanted $ 1000 for install of acc. Patrick had no prep fee + free install of acc.

Despite the fact I'm missing toggle and fogs, I'm loving driving this car !!!!

Yeah! We picked up ours today in Albq. today. What a great car! Not too much configurator remorse. I kept it simple on the interior to keep the price down so there was a lot that could have been done. I think the color combo is awesome; sporty yet classy. I'll be putting on some bonnet stripes from AC this weekend, then some window tinting. I love this car!!!!!!!!!!!

Did any of you 49ers encounter the cold start issues that have taken over the Stock Problems threads?

Mine has started every time. I only noticed a rough idle once. It was about 20ºF at a stop light 1 mile from my house.
