Looks like I didn't make it. Maybe next ship... *fingers crossed*
edit: Wait, I just realized that the Liberty doesn't leave 'til the 4th, so there's still a chance!!
Courage leaves on the 5th. Integrity leaves on the 9th.

Hooray........
I ordered my MINI 01/26/2008 and I was told by customer service (from askmini) that production begin today and will be done next Thursday (02/07/2008) So I think my MINI is in production week #6.
However, from owners lounge page, my car shows on order and askmini's recording machine said no production date.
Happy Motoring....

Another source of VIN is the Owner's Lounge "Service Log". I am one day out of production, per ASKMINI, and my VIN was listed there. I originally got the VIN by going to the TRACK YOUR MINI page and right clicking to get to the page's Source Code. You can then use the Find function (CTL +F) to search for VIN. That was the earliest source, but I don't think it's useful that early, anyway.

VIN Number
There is actually a much easier way to find your VIN number than searching through the source code.
Go to the page that shows the status of your car ("On order", "Scheduled for Production", etc.)
The last item in that grouping is "Review Order Detail". Click on that and you will see your Production number and the VIN number for your car.

I think the next post has the MINI plant pic attached. Looking for another opinion as to accuracy.
The river port, Sanford-on-Thames, just south of Oxford and about 2 air-miles west of Crowley is tiny. The river also seems much too small for big ships.
Is there another port in the vicinity, or do they truck the cars to a different place?
The factory I found, which appears to have lines of MINI-like cars parked too close together for commuters, is at 51°43'42.54"N 1°11'33.19"W.

My MA gave me the following link to track my MINI. It has photos of Southampton and was a lot of help.

Isolde went through the Panama Canal today and a lot of us spent all day watching and waiting for the progress. What a high! To know my OTTO was on board after my 25-month wait since my Clubby deposit was wonderful. The ship arrives in Port Hueneme Feb. 10th. Can't believe my wait is almost over.
Hope the link helps you. Love your tractor photo.

sorry bro' your badge with the tin top threw me off. your schedule is good news for me though as i figure the cabs (R52) have to have their own production run. btw, the askmini automated has me "scheduled for production" but no date. guess i'll be talking to a live person first thing tomorrow morning. "calm sounding people" eh?

Glad I could help! "Ramona" comes from one of my favorite children's books, "Ramona Quimby." She is a little girl who cuts her own bangs crooked, rides a tricycle around at top speed knocking things out of her way and simultaneously blowing loudly and relentlessly on a harmonica. And she makes boys eat bugs. In short, a BA little girl who won't be ignored! Just seemed right to me...

You're right, Oxtox - we must be the only cabrio people on here. Maybe that has something to do with it? What's your status on the OL or with Ask Mini?
I just checked my status on the Owner's Lounge and I'm finally moved up to "Scheduled for Production" so maybe the real countdown can begin at the end of the week??
