How did you figure out that you were on the Courage? Did your MA tell you? Does your VIN show up on the WW site? What does your OL and the automated ASK-MINI status say? I'm dying here! I keep seeing all these MINIs getting loaded that finished production after mine! My dealer is in Miami, so I'm thinking mine will be coming into Charleston and then trucked to Miami. My OL and ASK-MINI status is still "awaiting transport". This makes day 8 on the dock for me...

A rule of thumb, that I learned the hard way, is that your Mini will probably sit in Southampton for a week or so even if its tagged to a ship earlier. It's been somewhat of a letdown as mine was tagged to two previous ships before currently being tagged for a ship set to sail on Monday Feb 11. Mine showed up in Southampton on Feb 3rd and missed a sailing on the 4th and 7th. Good luck though!

So what happened with each miss? I would think at some point after the vessel leaves it stops saying it's booked on the departed vessel. The next NY bound vessel is the Integrity due in on 2/8... will it keep saying Boheme until the Integrity arrives. This is gonna be a long couple days....

After entering my VIN in the ID box, there are three lines in the box.
1. received at terminal
2. booked
3. loaded on vessel
i was received and booked on a prior ship and my car was never loaded. If you don't see that your car was loaded on vessel, than it's safe to assume that your car didn't make the trip.
also, you can take the booking number they give you and search by booking number. you can then scroll through to find your VIN and it will say there loaded on vessel or received or waitlisted.

If your car is scheduled for completion on the 7th, you can't assume it will be at the dock that day. In fact it has been taking 3 or 4 days to get to the dock after it is completed.
This guy seems to have a good understanding of the process: http://www.jwardell.com/mini/2006/10...-ordered-mini/
As many of us have discovered, even though it arrives at the Southampton dock and there is a ship scheduled to load and depart in the following few days, it is unlikely that your car will be on that ship. The consensus is that your car will be at the dock for about a week before it is actually loaded and shipped. It is "first-in/first-out" with the shipments.
Good luck!

Called last night and talked to a customer service person, said my car was completed and in transit to the docks. The autobot said was still in the paint shop. I asked how long approximatly does it take to get on a ship, and she said it takes about 5-7 days from the time it arrives on the dock for the car to get loaded on the ship. Must be customs or something. This process seems to mirror the BMW I ordered in 2006 almost exactly.

Hope that helps. If you're interested check out the Isolde support group thread as two of our fellow travelers did a video of the Isolde going through the Panama Canal. We sat all day watching for the progress through the Gatun Lock, Centennial Bridge and then the Miraflores Lock. It takes all day for the ship to get through there. Fascinating.

Must be good luck but I just checked the WW site for the heck of it since my car was completed yesterday, and.......I AM ON THE INTEGRITY!!!! I think your car goes on the ship based on the booking date, mine was 1-4-08. I also think my dealer changed an already ordered car since my order was made on the 30th and processed on the 31st.

The West Coast is exclusively WW. The East Coast is WW and the K line. As I understand it there is one ship a week that sails for the West Coast and 2 ships for the East Coast. My Clubman is on the Isolde arriving Sunday the 10th at Port Hueneme. It departed Southampton Jan. 21st. The ship that left one day ahead (also for the West Coast) actually arrives one day later than Isolde as it had a stop in the Gulf.
