Just brought her Home!

I just picked up a 2007 Mini Cooper S Chili Red/Black 6spd. So far it is such a awesome little car, and I cant wait to hit some back roads for some real fun! I got the car from Prestige Mini, i dealt with Alan Sheynin who was awesome to work with. If your looking for a mini and want a great guy who doesnt BS go to Alan and tell him Carl sent you. Look foward to talking with you guys

Yea i just went out for another quick drive, but the roads are really wet out so it isnt as much fun. Add to the fact that i had to drive over 6 hours to get it im a little tired. Ill post up some pics when it gets a little nicer out!

Did they cheat you? They cheated me. There sales manager, David, offered me $28,000 for my trade on building an 08 mini when I was there 2 weeks ago. Today he renegged on the offer, and made an anti-semetic remark to me calling a typical Jew beacuse I was trying to negotiate a better price.

I will love to see this dealership rot in hell, and when I get through with them they & Mini will be sorry.

Sorry about your experience but, i had the exact opposite. They treated me very well and gave me a very good deal, i would have wanted more for my trade but who doesnt. I have 4 dealerships to choose from all with in 1:30 and i chose prestige. I cant believe one of the guys there would say anything like that.

Although many of us have been guilty of it, it is incumbent upon all of us to point out cultural & racial insensitivity. On trade pricing: my trade in was initially valued at $31k, and the price droppedthree weeks later at 3 different dealers. They use a dealer trade publication (Galves?) that lists weekly auction prices for all models. I finally went to Westchester Mini and got $28k and a great sales interaction. Good Luck

Wet roads a deterrent to a MINI Driver. Why, they're whiptastic... Get out there and get it a little wet!

Hi Folks,

Just went for a two hour ride in the MCS. I told my wife I needed batteries...) When I got back she said, next time I'm going with...and I want to drive!!.

Oh my God, I'm lovin' this little car.

What excuse will I cook up to drive tommorrow after work? Coming from an Infiniti Fx, 6 cylinder Suv with 280HP of great handling power...how is it that I'm now feeling faster, quicker and smarter than everyone else on the road...

It's way similar to the feeling I've had for the past 15 years as a Mac user.

Anyway thanks for the kind words folks. Can't wait to get together with some of you when the weather breaks. I'm in the NYC area...but am willing to travel to areas that are road friendly.
