I might get Dirty Looks, or maybe spit on (I hope not though). If you guys can track Madame Butterfly you are having better luck than those of us on the TRIANON. All we know is that she is due in to Port Hueneme on April 7th, 3 days later than expected. She left NY yesterday and is expected to embark on her Panama Canal crossing on Saturday the 29th. But other than watching the WW site WE have not other contact with her. I would consider myself lucky if I were you.
I asked my salesman about the MB and he said his information told him it left port on the 23rd as scheduled. He then said it was due at Port Hueneme on the 15th, not the 11th. I didn't push him on the difference.
For all of us looking for Madame Butterfly I found the following site http://www.southamptonvts.co.uk/com/smovements.htm. Click on the link ships along side, which may at least answer part of your question "were is Madame Butterfly"
Just found out today my car was also loaded on the MB on 3/23. Doesn't look like the ship has left though. Looks like it is scheduled to leave Southhampton on 3/30. Ask Mini said it takes about 21 Days to get to Port Hueneme.
Not sure. I received an email from my MA yesterday and he said my MINI would arrive in CA on 4/8/08. If that is the case, then the MB information on the net is all wrong (hasn't been updated). Either that or my car is on a different ship. But that doesn't make sense 'cause the VIN # showed my car to be on MB. I hope my MA is right.
The ship postings have the MB still there with an ETD (I assume estimated time of departure) of 3/29, 0200 GMT. That would put it in at Port Hueneme on the 18th or 19th if it takes 21 days.
Well, I've jumped ship! I got tired of waiting on the MB, so I found a very similar Clubman (loaded more than my order), and drove it home on Friday!
I got more on this vehicle for a couple of hundred less than my order. This is due to the absence of a premium! That's right, a SoCal dealer with no premium. Anyway, I wish all of you the best. I hope to see some of you on the SoCal roads & hwys.
My dealer in Santa Ana, CA told me it SHOULD take 7 to 10 days from the time the ship docks to get the car to his dealership. Of course, as we know, unexpected things are likely to occur.
