I ordered my MCS on 3/31, and was told "late May, early June". Shipping was the hold up - Stella was built on 4/12, which didn't seem so bad - THEN. Now it seems like forever ago.
I did hear the Clubman's were out through November at the time from Rasmussen. How interesting Tacoma was that much faster. Portlanders must be ordering lots of them!
If you're getting yours Saturday I may still have hope for delivery this week myself! Mini OL listed Stella "at the dealership", this morning - earlier than MA thought. Don't think I can wait much longer to call and check in!

glad to hear both hcubed and majorbill11 picked up their MINIs. awesome!! maybe some pictures are in order?....

booyun....i've been breaking mine in by doing half street and half freeway. obviously not going past 100.....or going past 4500 rpms. plus me stalling about 2 1/2 dozen times (always trying to get to first gear from a complete stop. too nervous when other cars are around. they keep on looking at the car!!!! haha!). but haven't stalled for the past couple days. and i encountered my first stop & go traffic on 280N for about 10 mins without any issue.

congrats eron! nice to see the effects that a MINI can have on a person.

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I just got back home. I have it, its mine.
i didnt put that many miles on it tonight because i was only driving sence i picked it up tonight at 8, and i stayed local in my town and its a small town, so i only racked up about 50 miles so far. this is just a quick update, i'll have more later, maybe tonight if i dont just pass out from all the excitment from today.

OK, chock up my wings as well, I picked mine up today, drove Skyline Blvd., Big Basin, and the likes, curvy curvy's through the redwoods, finished via Hwy 9 to Santa Cruz.. Flat out beautiful roads, I'd forgotten how fun they are as I don't get up there that often any more. I guess I'll just have to be happy with Big Sur.

AH-HA!!!! IM BACK!!! I GOT IT AND I LOVE IT EVEN MORE THAN THE FIRST!! ah yes, i love this car, did i mention that already? lol, omg. im so happy, now haveing the car back only amplifies how much the last 10 months have sucked, im never going to do a stupid thing again. but yes on to the car. its awesome, and i have a full day tomorrow of using it. actually, two things are kinda weird, one, i didnt notice at the dealer but only once i was driving a little bit, but the TPMS is already set off.?. like i got the little flat tire message, but i checked all the tires and they seem to be fine. so i dont know, i guess im going to be calling him tomorrow, and the other already having one R56 mini before i instanly would know whats wrong if anything, and unfourtualy, the mechinism that "saves" your seat postion for when moving it back and fourth dosent seem to work in either of the seats?
, what gives? has anyone eles noticed this, its kinda like w/e but people were getting in and out tonight of the back and it was kinda like, i had it before and now i miss it. so what gives? the last thing i want to do is to have to bring the car back and them pull it all apart all afternoon trying to fix it, i hope its a quick and easy fix. seems like a long write up for some thing i said "w/e" about. sorry. oh and dag namit, my Creative Zen Vision (first gen) dosent work with the Usb like a flash drive. it dose on computers but not in the mini, as soon as i hook it up it goes to the "connected" screen but then goes to the normal screen and acts like its not hooked up. rrrrr. but all in all i love the car its awesome. i think they will just reset the tpms because it was on as i left the dealer and i drove all night, and i would have known if the tire wasnt ok because i checked them, and once the seat is working properly its perfect. now, at 1am im going to go outside and sit in it some more.

Two things in common with you... my Archos didn't work it started playing the first track it found on the drive but I couldn't navigate. Will do some searching and checking out of the audio forum to see if I can find a fix.
And I got the flat tire indicator too. Of course no flat tire so will be trying to reset that when I program the computer with the rest of my preferences tomorrow.
Will report back if I get anything figured out.

Add another "Mini-dot" to the Turandot!
We picked up our Clubman S (still no name) tonight. For a car dealership purchase, this one wasn't all that bad. With no haggling, we got MSRP and no silly mark-ups. We did get some floor mats tossed in, aslo with no effort on our part. Sort of... Pretty much the original deal we wanted. We came in slightly below what our max amount was, so my wife (the family accountant) was happy. Me, I'm satisfied, but I still want a damn spare tire for this car. I'll just keep working the MA over. If he still wants a good survey review...

btwyx... congrats on the pick up of the MINI! looking forward to seeing the new family member.
peter314... you're one of the 'special' ones.....you had to endure a type of hellish waiting due to your circumstances. i'm glad you finally got to pick up your MINI and drive it. your enthusiasm and spirit pretty much sums up this entire thread. congrats!
satsloader... congrats on the pick up! and it seems like you and the new MINI have already met your 1200 mile break in requirement from the looks of it. haha!

i think the usb drives need to be formatted as FAT32, but i'm sure your guys' media devices are already set that way. so i don't know what the issue is.
and i haven't tried out that memory seat position thing yet. i should find out too since i always push the seat back when getting out and i pull it back to the front to where i need it whenever i get back into the car....
