Hi all, I am almost 59 years old. Just ordered my Pepper White Cooper on 3/27. The OL shows it (the correct car now) "scheduled for production". I noticed that the next step is "awaiting trasport". So, there is no way to know how the production is proceeding? Anyway, I am stoked! It is Pepper White with black top and black bonnet stripes. Driving lights round out what I think should be a great look. Glad to "meet" all of you. It looks like owning a Mini is going to be a lot of fun. This may turn out to be the coolest car I've ever owned. Bill
Welcome Bill, you will love it and wonder why you waited so long.
Well, I ask myself the same question now. But 4 months ago a Mini wasn't even on the radar for me. I started researching cars with good MPG ratings (thinking along the lines of Honda, Toyota, etc) and the Mini popped up at 37 mpg. "Hmmmm" said I. However, our nearest Mini dealer is about 100 miles away in Winston-Salem, NC. But I also found there is a dealer in Sterling, VA, about 200 miles away but only 4 miles from family members that I visit a few times a year. So, the next visit I slipped over to Mini of Sterling and the rest is history. Gawd, to think now that I could have been driving a Yaris!!
Getting good gas mileage doesn't have to be boring.
