noob ready to push the button.
Sup everyone,
I'm graduating from Penn State on May 16th, and I'm getting enough cash for graduation to put a deposit down and pay for my first few months payments before I start work in August.
Pretty much just lurking as of now, trying to figure out what packages are worth it, etc. Definitely going to be an s hardtop, probably with the jcw tuning upgrade.
I've been a Honda guy for a long time, I currently have a 90 accord with a prelude swap and some other goodies. I'm hoping the mini will keep me on the same page speed wise (at least initially) with a significant handling upgrade.
Can't wait to join the community. Oh and I'm moving to Seattle for work, for anyone who's out there.

oh, lsd is a must...
The accord I'm driving now is a bit modified, the prelude h22 boosts me up to roughly 200 hp, making it a much more fun car to drive. Not a whole lot suspension wise, just lowered with some sway bars and such. I was surprised to find out that my accord is only about 150lbs heavier then the mini...
Either way, I'm thrilled to get one. I test drove the previous generation a few years back and loved the handling and responsiveness of the engine.
I'm a little concerned about how everything seems to be controlled by the computer though. I'm just used to having everything be real simple, I guess I just have some learning to do.
As for the ride to WA, I'm excited about it, but I'm also a little nervous. I don't think I'm going to get through my break-in period before I need to move out, so I might look into having it shipped. There's no way I can stay at a reasonable speed while driving the entire way across the country.
