You've got that right! I'm sitting at Service at Morristown MINI and I probably just spend 30 minutes oooing and aahing over the 09 JCW, its a phenomenal looking car!

 

I thought you were at Prestige? Or did you just buy there? And what are you servicing?

You are right, I did buy at Prestige and overall had a great buying experience with them. But Morristown is significantly closer to my NJ office so even though I usually do Fridays in my Manhattan office, I came out here instead. Unfortunately Prestige is just too far for me to make it up there during business hours without taking off work.

I'm having the oil changed following my break-in period to flush the system. The service guys clearly thought I was crazy but I've seen enough of those oil contaminant threads to know better. I'd do it myself, but my parking lease does not allow me to perform car maintenance in my garage or the lot. Plus I'm still intimidated by easy car maintenance.

i picked up my perm plates today and they let me drive their JCW cooper that came in yesterday..

Do you think any other car manufacturer has soon-to-be owners that countdown in the hours like we're all doing? I think its going to be a big group of us late bloomers who all get our cars at once. And, don't forget to keep us all in the loop. We're 2 posts away from 3 5 0 0 posts!

 

I think the only others, are the BMW guys.. probably because they let them track as well.

Mozza, that DOES look hot, i better stop, Yuko will get jealous if ogle other cars.
