Haha, I'm 24 and I love my music, but I enjoy hearing it without disturbing the peace. The last time a "young pup" pulled up along side me with bass vibrating my car, I put on some Opera and blared it, pretended to direct of, sang along..... The look on the kids face was priceless.

car's back in.
i've had a problem with it stalling out occasionally on start up. it starts, is crazy rough, then stalls. Start up, still rough, I rev it up, and let it drop back to idle, no problems. It did it this morning but threw a check engine light, so I've got them fixing that.
Have the cold start rattle at around 1.5k rpms, but not at idle, which they say is a completely different rattle then the cold start at idle. Getting that work taken care of too.
I've also noticed a weird noise when warmed up, in second gear at abou 2.5k rpms... got them looking at that...
jeeze i'm starting to get really annoyed now. my car has ALL of the symptoms that I've read about on here... sunroof, windows, rattle, clutch noises, etc. I love the thing, but this is a brand new car.

well, the dealership got back to me, the check engine light was a missfire on all four cylinders.

my guess is the fuel pump, but from what I've seen posted up, BMW blames that on "bad gas", even though I haven't put anything but Chevron in for the past 4k or so miles, and the only other brand I've put in is 76.

Just a little driving report. I drove around the hilly twisted back roads near the office on the way home and I can say that the springs are FAB. Cornering is relatively flat, i'd say 70-80 of the body roll is gone. Asphalt repair spots were soaked up firmly and smoothly, not abrupt like OEM.
Also took a 270 degree banked ascending highway interchange @ 2x posted limit with ease, including a 20' ruffled asphalt repair section near the middle. Steering upset was decreased during that section compared to OEM @ 1.5x posted limit I drove at previously. I could probably do 2.5x but there's a semi-blind at the top where the deceleration lane merges to descend back down the clover. I think if the ruffles aren't there and there highway was closed to all but myself, I could the ascent @ 3-3.25x posted. I haven't tried the descent though, I think there would still be some steering issues w/ all the weight up front and focused on the front left tire.
