I believe your dealer does the drilling once it gets there. My MA explained it to me prior to leaving the dealership the day I ordered so I e-mailed him a few days after my MINI was completed and told him I'm getting the No-Holes LBP. He said he'll make a note not to drill the front.

STarry is there any possibility you could be on Kline? Maggy was on SNH and still showing that she was on the dock. I found out only afterwards since she suddenly showed in transit and the only other ships were WW. I hope your Mini is really en route and there is some glitch with the info.

OR
1) Enter your VIN on the W&W site...if it's not there, go to step 2.
2) If your MA says you're on a boat, enter your VIN on the W&W site
3) If you're on a boat and NOT on W&W website, then by process of elimination, you're on K-Line!
(at least that's what I've deduced!)

1) Your MA says "you're on XYZ Boat" and you look at the list that OWG generates and figure out what line that is

What was that conversation like? Did the person on the other end of the phone think you were joking, or was it something that you could sense they had dealt with before?

just talked to my inside man at Ottos, finished going through the steps today, discharged to trucks. I don't have an update as to when it will get on a truck but he thinks it could be here as early as tomorrow, friday, and at latest saturday. So i'll probably take delivery this weekend :-)

100th POST!!
Ahhh..! I knew my 100th post would be special as I have found a very good topic for it!
Here goes:
My MA e-mailed me just an hour ago with this for a Subject:
"Your new MINI is on the boat!!!"
And then he went ahead and posted the Asian Chorus shipping details etc etc. My MA is awesome, he gets back to me asap whenever I have questions re: other options and installations for Peewee [and that is a LOT!]. The only time I had to ask him about the production was how long will it take for the little arrow to move from "Scheduled for Production" to "Awaiting Transport" because most of the time, I'm getting the info here in our thread! I didn't have the heart to tell him that I'm way ahead of him..
But he did give me some websites to pass the time, one of which is the thread for Port Hueneme VDC here on NAM. Here's the rest of his e-mail:
The big unknown factor which we have no control over is how fast the MINIs are released from Port and shipped by truck to the Dealership. Once it arrives at port, I'll get a regular update which I'll let you know when it will be ready for pickup.
Here's an article written on how to track your Mini's production, shipping and delivery:

NOTE: MINI utilizes three different shipping companies: K-Line, WW & NYK

The one about Motoring File is not familiar to me so might as well read something new.
