So I've just been looking at both the WW and the K-Line schedules and it seems the K-Line ships don't stop in NY? I'm assuming this means I'll definitely be on a WW ship then? This suits me just fine as K-Line sucks as far as tracking is concerned.
I'm actually hoping for a K-Line simply because it means I get my MINI a few days quicker than the WW ship. Don't care so much about tracking as I do receiving!
ASK-MINI's system is back up and according to them my car left for the port this morning British time which means it should be there already! I'll almost certainly be on the Don Juan leaving Southampton Wednesday the 25th and arriving New York the 4th of July
According the master shipping schedule I saw a week or two ago K-line Emden and Caribbean Highway are both scheduled into Charleston. Emden is supposed to leave the 25th and Highway the 27th per Southampton Ports. Odd thing though, Emden and Courage are listed as leaving the 21st on the schedule I saw - think there were delays caused by the strikes so who knows what will get where fastest.
I'm on the Courage to Charleston and it's now showing a 19:00 departure so maybe they're trying to get a couple more MINIs on board before she goes!

I don't dare to dream! To be honest it doesn't really matter whether I get on the Courage or not because after speaking with my MA this morning it appears all us JCWers are out of luck in that none of us will be getting our cars before the official launch date of July 14th anyway. Still though, the sooner she's on U.S. soil the better.

The Emden doesn't stop in New York, but the Courage does. Thus shaving the days off the trip for the K-Line versus WW when you are going to Charleston
I love the automated line. Even though its late on the 23rd, they still say my car is in the paint shop and has an estimated completion date of June 22nd. There must be some sort of time travel involved.
