All Aboard the RIGOLETTO - leaving Southampton 6/4/08 for Port Hueneme!
#30
we are both in the same boat (as it were ) we are both waiting for a delivery to Scottsdale. From what I gather it will take 2 weeks on the sea to get over here to the pacific side. Then about a week to unload and get shipped over to scottsdale. I am thinking we should have it in about amonth.

Anyone else notice that the Rigoletto is not leaving until tomorrow?
That link didn't work= track your MINI, then if you scroll over "voyage" it becomes a link, click that and it shows what port it is at and when it is departing...
Rigoletto says departure is 6/5

Whenever it leaves, I just want it to get here!

So, the Rigoletto has sailed, but I don't have an AISLive account, so I can't track the ship when it's close to shore. And, the latest sailwx info shows the ship as of May 3 in the Gulf of Aden near the Red Sea. :(

According to the Port records, the Rigoletto left its berth at 1:12pm local and departed the VTS (vessel traffic services) area at 3:37pm. So, I'm guessing that I caught a different ship on the webcam.

They do. There is a date of arrival at Port Hueneme on the WW site.

Well darn it... I was so excited and then today I checked again. The information changed and my MINI is not on the Rigoletto. She is scheduled for the Asian Chorus, which is scheduled to leave Southhampton on the 11th of June. To be honest I was somewhat surprised a database query indicated she was on the Rigoletto, given that she just got to the port on Wednesday.
Not much to do but wait. Although the thought of flying over and outfitting her with pontoons to make the voyage myself has crossed my mind. (Oh, the fantasies.)
