East Coast AC'ers.... in case anyone is picking up in Ohio and still stranded at the NY VDC, this is what I just posted on the Week 23 thread:

Well hmm...... I just called my MA again... 10 days at VDC with no word- and no work being done to it. I mentioned I was worried something happened to it on the boat and he said no, if it did, they would see something went wrong. It's just sitting in New Jersey and he said that it "may have been put on the wrong boat because all of our cars (going to Ohio) go to South Carolina".... F*ing fantastic.... so.... no vehicle and looks like I may have to skip the family vacation since I don't have a ride there- OR the 3 hour trip to pick up my car when it DOES come in.... my MA said he is contacting someone directly at the port to find out what is going on. I am frustrated. At this point it's not even fun

I'd like to see that.

However, I think 11-12 days unless the AC hits port 1 day earlier or off-loads the morning of the 3rd. I don't think much work/ground transport will get done over the 4th of July weekend.

True, but i'm assuming that my MiNI doesn't need a software update and nothing went wrong during the voyage. Since i've got nothing to install at VDC, it should be one of the first ones out.
Well, if the Beemers coming off the Coral Leader don't screw things up for me. Either way, next week should see a bunch of 23'ers getting their wings.

A considerative optimist.

Generally, I anticipate complication and delay. This seldomly materializes so I'm often pleasantly surprised. This works because I'm unconcerned about "the little stuff" and rarely in a hurry.

VIN is all ready to go w/ the insurance company, basically, ill i need now is the package from penfed, and the dealer to call.

Me too!

Hi Everyone.

Elton is on board the Asian Chorus.

I saw the post about the tequila soaked black caps, what about the tequila soaked UJ caps? Got a short message that he lost them while limbo-ing on the Ledo Deck, but he found them again a couple of days later.

Teenagers...what can we do? At least he took his Dramamine.

Not much longer! Elton has to go to NWMINI, so I'll probably get him the week of the 13-19. He's having lots of accessories installed, so it will take them a few days.

Cindy & Elton
'08 MCSC, LB/B, 1,2,3,DSC,HK,SS+,Blue Leather, JCWAF, JCWES, UJ Caps and a partridge in a pear tree...

Yep, Pullman. Seems like a popular area right now. Still can't figure out where all these people are coming from!

I'm not getting any accessories installed, hopefully I catch an earlier truck... we'll see.. I might get to see you at NWMINI

I'm now packing up from my house in PA, leaving on Monday for Seattle. It should be a fun journey for me and my girl in a 16' Penske truck, towing her civic.

MA phoned today to finalize any accessories (none really that require install). He did mention the MINI is supposed to arrive on 07/03, which we already knew of course. He's expecting that it will be available to take delivery here in Denver the third week of July. Not that I'd argue with taking delivery any sooner than that!

Denver! I would suppose that seat warmers were not "optional"?

949 here, at least on the weekends.

The shipping schedule now shows Asian Chorus departing from Port Hueneme on July 3 instead of July 4. Either they will be a few hours ahead of schedule, or they remembered that July 4 is a holiday.

I can't believe I perfected the whole screenshot setup and AVG ruined everything. It's never actually done that (worked) in the year I've had this system.
Hey Proximal, I forgot to say thank you for this! So thank you! Got me a little preoccupied haha

Got used to having the seat warmers on the BMW. These arthritic bones really appreciate it during the occasionally cold Colorado winter. Admittedly at this altitude, even during the winter the sun can warm up the car quite a bit if it's out in the open during the day.

Great for doubling as a food warmer when you're on your way home from a fast food place too. Flip that puppy on flash fry! ;P

Hang in there guys, you'll all be united soon, and it'll be worth the wait then!
