When I was a teen, we had an English Bulldog named Glory!
Granted, every time someone met her we had this conversation:
Person: "What's her name?" Me: "Glory." Person: "Gloria?" Me: "No, just Glory. No 'a' on the end." Person: "Weird." Me: "Yeah. We didn't name her. I wouldn't name a dog after a concept. It's like they called her 'Promptness' or 'Good Value.'"
Still, she was the sweetest dog ever - to this day, my mother's favorite dog. Enjoy the car!
After my noontime lament, I got through to ASK-MINI and was told the car started production yesterday (6/29), with scheduled completion July 7th! So, I guess I'm a dual citizen of weeks 27 and 28 then, eh?
My HC Clubman, "Count Chocula", is due to be built, well...today!! Anyone know/remember what the number of days that it took to get to the ship? There's a boat going out on the 5th and one on the 13th so I'm hoping it may make the boat on the 5th. Anyone have any thoughts?
Called ask Mini this morning. The Clubman was completed yesterday and is released to a Carrier. I guess that means it should be at the port today or tommorrow. Seems like that should be good for the July 5th boats. Now how to figure out which one.
I'm bummed. The MINI factory must have ran out of Dark Silver... I was told my car entered the Body Shop on the 26th, status 151, and tentatively was supposed to be completed on the 1st. Today's the 1st, yet status is only 152, in the Paint Shop, with completion estimated now for the 2nd.
I'm guessing the ship leaving on the 5th will be missed and the one leaving the 8th will be the one I'm on. At least it should definitely make that.
...this status visibility certainly adds a lot of 'fun' to the whole process!
Wondering, does anyone know of another auto manufacturer that offers this level of vehicle creation tracking detail?

I'm the same. Complete and released to the carrier. I checked the WW website to see if my VIN is listed as cargo, but not yet. I'm hoping the 5th ship has room for my clubbie!
askmini told me I started production on June 28 but they did not a completion date. How long is the production process typically? Hoping to be born on the 4th but that might be a stretch.

8'ish days. Click the link I provided in my last post.
It was 8 days for me from production start to finish.
I think I am really lucky too because I ordered on 21-June, started production 23-June, finished 30-June, and now at the port and awaiting a ship 1-July!!
I must have gotten one of the dealer's slots to go into production that fast.

My production started on the 28th as well (MCS) and I was told an estimated completion date of July 5th.
i just called a coupule hours ago and they said my car (MCS) is confirmed for week 27 production and should be done by the end of the week. No confirmed completion date though.. production started on the 28th as well like Tex_Susbo. maybe our cars are next to each other!
