I hope that I am on the boat but have on confirmation. My mini was finished on the 11th and have heard others got on this boat that were finished the same day. Their are to many verables to be sure if I am on the boat. I have to wait till OL or RoboVoice updates to see...

I only just yesterday found out my Clubman is also on board!My MA told me and the ship records confirm that it should be in Charleston nest Thursday. I had been unable to get the call sign for the ship. Where did you find it? I'm over by the rail on the Starboard side takin' in the breeze. Come on over, the cold beer is on me!

I noticed that just a couple of minutes ago on my last trip to the bar. Its the cute little mellow yellow one thats been eyen' me for the last little while. As soon as Mr. Hot Chocolate over there quits boring her and turns around, I'm goin' over there and rescuing her!

Ha, I know exactly where Olive Branch is! I lived and went to school in Memphis for 5 years back in the 80's. I live in Baldwyn which is about 20 miles north of Tupelo.

Your occupation and this thread are a very bizarre coincidence. My wife and I looked at the MINI back in 03 when they first started coming into the Memphis area. She really wanted one bad and I really liked the car also, but we both had pretty good vehicles at the time and I just wouldn't come up with the cash to buy her one. I bought her a restaurant instead. Well, long story short, I should have bought the car! She left me back in Dec with a restaurant deeply in debt. After all is said and done, I hope, I will only be out about $50,000 for FY 07. When I heard about the Clubman launch, I went to look at them and, well you know, the rest is history!

No. Roadshow acted like they could care less if they had my business so I called MINI of Nashville and was treated quite well. When I went to the dealership to order and do the paperwork I had Shasta my dog with me. They not only let her come in the dealership and hang out with me, the Sales Manager even gave her a couple of treats!

All that said, I will probably be going to Roadshow for service since it is only about 80 miles from here.

 

If you do have to deal with roadshow for your service, ask for karl smith. He was top notch and has done a great job keeping me informed.

 

My Mini will be unloaded in Charleston. Two more weeks without a car ... I don't know if I can stand it.

 

Thanks for the tip. Tom Taylor is the guy I talked to I think. I was under the impression after talking to him that I was going to have to pay $1,000. just to get to order the car!

I read on another forum that if you go to a different dealership for service they may not allow the same perks, ie. loaner car. I am not sure about this though.

 

I had to pay 1k to order, but it goes toward the total purchase price.

 

This ship looks awfully close to be six days out.....anybody know what other ports shes going to?

 

Western Highway goes to Baltimore - scheduled to arrive on there on the 21st.

 

So are we still looking at charleston ok the 26th? I'm getting my hopes up. Quick, someone douse them. Where can I find a schedule for this lass?

 

Check the K-line website, or the Port of Charleston. Both have the WH getting to Charleston on the 26th. (Although the K-line site says that she arrives in B-Mo on the 23, leaving on the 24th, but I think read she gets there today.)

 

It looks like the ship is in baltimore. I wonder if we will see shipping info when it travels from there to charleston. I gotta think we are two days ahead of schedule, but then again, I think i may have a problem.
