re: questions
Ydrolina, several questions and a compliment for you. First the compliment - your 'toons are good stuff. A unique insight into the world of MINI and the changes these fun little cars bring into our lives.
Question 1 - Does the site have all your cartoons on it or only selected ones?
Question 2 - Do you have a regular publishing schedule or is it more just when you have the inspiration?
Question 3 - I checked for you on Comic-Alert and you're not listed. Would you mind me adding your site to help you get more traffic?
Question 4 - How do you pronounce Ydrolina?

Well, glad you like my small toons. So to your questions;
1) All cartoons are on the site, some of them are not so good (the one with the fireworks for example, or the one with the parking ticket machine, but one day I will redraw them better..that the plan, anyway.
2) Theres no regular publishing shedulde. I update when I have time over... Under the summer vacation there will for instance be less updates as usually as I plan to travel abroad, (believe it or not ; bicycling !!!!)
Some strips take a lot of time to do... the one with somersault for example... other goes very quickly....
3) Comic alert...Would be very happy to be listed there. Please add me :-)
4) Prononciation...like in ydrolastic , more like He-drolina than High-drolina if you follow my thoughts.
A great hugh to you from

Ydrolina...like e-drolina rather than I-drolina. Comes from Ydrolastic suspensions on older minis.... working a lot with hydraulics lately....
Take care, drive safely, and a big hug from Ydrolina

Thanks for the comic! I got you listed on comic alert (http://www.comicalert.com/ if you're not familiar with it) but they are still in the process of putting things together for you. I just put in a review as well.
On the comic you created (Electric Mini) it took a couple trys to see why you said you made it special - Then I saw the mirrors! Cool. I love the addition of the washing machine icons on the door.

Thanks a lot There is indeed a plan of making a booklet, but not before next year, when the stock is a bit bigger, so to say.
Been on vacation 2 weeks, did some cartoons down there, between the sunbathing and the bottles of burgundy wine... but still have to ink them and upload them... that will be around the 11 of august...
Take care,
Ydrolina

ROFLMAO
Wow! I love those cartoons, they keep me going at work.
I think some of my co-workers are starting to think that I'm losing it (they don't know that I'm reading your cartoons).
My daughter and I keep a list of all the movies that we see a MINI/Mini in and in just about every movie the MINI/Mini
is flying through the air with the greatest of ease.
Then we get in our MINI and have to back out of the driveway at an angle so that we don't bottom out and then we
watch out for every speedbump, curb or any other obstacles that may hang the MINI up.
So this particular cartoon is therefore our favorite....

re:cabriopilot
It was one of the very first cartoons... I remember there was a lot of discussion about choosing "speed hump" or "speed bumps"...
Anyway, I´ve got TWO ones outside my house and they have cost me one silencer (the big box at the very rear of the exhaust, don´t know whats its called in english, muffler ?, and two cat pipes ! Even my winter car (would be a pity to drive a Mini in stockholm during the winter as they put a lot of salt on the roads) a Renault Twingo, lost her exhaust on the second hump....
But Minis fly ! The jump in the very first "italian job" movie, the one with Michael Caine, is not faked. They were unsatisfied with the shoot, but weren´t allowed by the producers to make another jump...
Personally, I´ve been flying too, quite a distance, with a Honda 400, but I would´nt recommend that experience to anyone. Landed safely in a potatoe field, which made me earn the nickname "the flying potatoe" for a year or two... Never drove a motorcycle again, by the way
Glad you like the comics, soon more to come

Hi, ydrolina. Nice to see you... AND your cartoon self whom has very firm *****. No Wilma Flintstone, mind you, but nice anyway.
Say... in this cartoon linked below, it appears you've combined the R50 exterior with the R56 interior.
Still very amusing though.

all the lovely people.... so moved by all praise I did one kind to the MINI and a bit critical to the classic mini. At least to its electricals :-)

Caught again
You are very observant.
Well, I do not own any MINI...(but 2 classic minis) so I use pictures as models when drawing the new MINI. I remember it was quite a job to draw the inside of it...
Even the classic minis in the strip are somewhat hybrid, pending wildly between Austin and Rover, with uncorrect badges and wheels...I hate drawing wheels, by the way !
Thanks for the praise for the drawings, and for the compliments on the *****, who belong in fact to my friend Pat. (She did model, as I couldn't get the arms and hands right on that one)

I've seen a few of your comic strips and always enjoyed them. I'm glad you posted a link so I can see all of them. Welcome to NAM!
(And I can't believe Chris didn't tell me there was a cute blonde posting here. )

Alec is a man...Alec understands...
Its true that lately I ve been a bit "off-topics" ranting about sex, but its time to do something more classic.
Red Dwarf (the red cooper) is at the paint shop, getting a new coat of paint on its nose, and Blue Dwarf (the blue cooper) is at another garage getting some electronic problems sorted...hopefully.
So I m frustrated, driving an old renault twingo, enraging everytime I meet a mini or a MINI, and considering doing an evil nasty uggly strip about
that damned Renault...
Started a fan group on facebook, presomptuous, but I need some feedback in order to know if I will dare to go on printed paper (a small booklet) or not...
