Paper girl new to the forum

Hi there ! I' m ydrolina, proud owner of 2 minis, and the mother of the "Ydrolina" comic strips or cartoons (depending on which side of the pond you live).
The cartoons are of course about a girl and her mini cooper ...
http://www.ydrolina.net

Now, be aware that some strips are not kind to the new MINI....Its only humour, folks ! And if I had the money....well, I' ll buy one too.
Anyway, the author (thats me) will gladly put in images any idea you have, regardless if its a MINI or a Mini, if its a good one.
Myself driving a 1998 Rover mini, which is something between the mini and the MINI.
All the electronics in there are already BMW ones :-)

Welcome! I LIKE your work! Can't wait to see more, and remember. . . bashing the MINI is like bashing your Mini's little offspring! No can do! Unless it's funny, of course!

Welcome to NAM.

I'm quite amused by this cartoon, it features one of my old cars. There aren't any people who even know what a Y-10 is, let along put them in a cartoon. Its not bigger than a classic Mini, I always thought the classic Mini was too small, the Y-10 was just right. (Its still 2 ft shorter than a MINI though.)

when I still was a kid, and my brother was driving a mini, I began saving money to buy a Lancia Y10...never made it to the Y10, too lazy, me...
But I remember having a poster with a Y10 in my bedroom :-)

Unfortuatly the Y10 isn't well depicted in the strip, I' ll try to put another one in sometimes in the future.

When we went to Ireland, we found out that a MINI is actually a midsize. Lots of real small stuff over there. And cool on the comic strips. Gonna have to add this to my lengthy list of reads.

To post or not to post ... that is the question. I won't (blush) comment on all the cartoons, but I will say that if you start putting MINI's in your cartoons, you could probably make some decent money over here in the US selling T-Shirts, etc., on NAM with your cartoons on them. I may be off-base on this, but I think there would be a market.

I like the picture with the little yellow man under your signature a lot !!!
Very funny. With a black or white background it would be a perfect club logo.

Ydrolina, several questions and a compliment for you. First the compliment - your 'toons are good stuff. A unique insight into the world of MINI and the changes these fun little cars bring into our lives.

Question 1 - Does the site have all your cartoons on it or only selected ones?
Question 2 - Do you have a regular publishing schedule or is it more just when you have the inspiration?
Question 3 - I checked for you on Comic-Alert and you're not listed. Would you mind me adding your site to help you get more traffic?
Question 4 - How do you pronounce Ydrolina?

Hi Ydrolina, welcome and love your comic strips! I don't think we get them here on our island.
