I think the whole tracking from order to deliver is fantastic. My wife is too hard to please; she wants to see a satellite photo she can zoom into to see our car on the ship (of course they are in containers stacked many many cars high).

Time for another "movie" in case some of you haven't seen it. I don't watch much tv, and watch even fewer commercials so I haven't seen any Mini ads on tv.

Here we go! The Independence II just sailed into port this morning. I've got screenshots of her passing the webcam heading into port below. I know my car, Maggie Mae, is boarding, who will she be riding over with??
The Independence II leaves Southhampton July 5, 2008, docks at NYC July 14, Charleston SC July 19 and Brunswick July 21.

A few more weeks and I'll be driving my new MINI!!!

Thanks for the tracking map. My "Stella Blue" is almost here. Hopefully she'll clear customs quickly then only a truck to Peabody. The wait is almost over. Can't wait to get behind the wheel.

WGAX needs to get a move on before this low pressure arrives.
AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE JUST OFF THE GEORGIA COAST IS PRODUCING
THUNDERSHOWERS AND GUSTY WINDS MAINLY OVER WATER. SURFACE PRESSURES ARE STEADILY FALLING IN THE AREA AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME A LITTLE MORE CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT...AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO...ESPECIALLY IF THE LOW REMAINS OFFSHORE. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT TO THE NORTH OR NORTHEAST.

Union pier (UP) terminal, pier 3. Seems like arrival is predicted 7/20...(if that's what "EDA" means)
