Funny thing is, my car will be going where I've wanted to go for years...through the Panama Canal. Fascinating engineering project, especially considering when it was built!
I've been to England once before, and I hope to return. I'd certainly make a point of trying to see the MINI's "birthplace". A factory tour would be great.
For now, I'll have to settle for the glimpses into the MINI's origins via the MINI Owner's Lounge links.
I talked to my MA and he tried to look it up in his computer and he suspects it should be already on a ship on its way here. I am not sure if that means I am a week 30. I read here that some even new the name of their ship. How would you find that out?

If you are already on a ship...then you are probably a 28 or 29.
Probably week 31. It is based on when your car actually comes together which happens right before painting. This is towards the end of the production time.
Probably not quite yet. The bookings for the Courage just showed up yesterday about noon GMT.
Hey bro, how did you find out for sure you are booked with them? I suspect that I am going to be departing on the 28th via the Courage as well (arriving in Brunswick, GA) but I just want to be sure! Thanks!

Mine was ordered 7/9 and completed 7/22.
I should be on the same ship as you.
It's coming to south Florida.
How did you get a booking number?
I put in my VIN, but I get nothing.

Just enter your VIN on the Auto Cargo tracking site for WW. If it does not come up, then you're not booked yet. I only got the booking number after my VIN showed up in their database.
Mine is waiting at the port too. I've tried my VIN and havent gotten anything back yet.
Im in NY, so I assume I'll be on the Don Juan, but has anyone made sense of the K-line schedule? I wonder if there is a chance mine will end up on that line.
Yeah, it is basically the same format as the WW schedules except that in many cases it shows two dates in each block. The two dates are just arrival/departure from that port.
I called Ask Mini today and found out that my car is in paint production and is scheduled for completion (yesterday actually). Does that mean that it is scheduled for completion in paint production or the entire car is scheduled for completion?
