mslatter,
That must be really frustrating to delay your pickup for a week for something so simple.
A little, and the dealer offered to let me pick it up without a check, by just signing a piece of paper that promised I'd have it financed by Saturday. Tempting, but as I explained to my wife, I'm not betting my car on the combined efficiencies of

a) a bank
and
b) the post office.
Smart thinking! I can't blame you for waiting.
Here's some pics of my new baby... (with bikes loaded)
I picked up my car yesterday and I could not be happier. It arrived from the VDC on Saturday, and they needed half day to prepare. My MA was off Monday, so I had to wait until yesterday. The car looks great and I am very happy with the dealer and MA!

Hang in there if you haven't got it yet.
Lucky! I called my MA on Monday and he said that mine hadn't arrived yet, and they expected it either later on Monday or sometime on Tuesday. I stopped by MoA on my way home today (my MA had already left for the day), and they said that my car hasn't been prepped yet, but my car is there! I think they said that they got 18 cars in at the same time, and that it takes about an hour to do each one (plus time for dealer-installed accessories, I guess?), so I can see why it's taking so long.
I hope my MA can get it moved to the front of the line for prep tomorrow, since they say he won't be there on Saturday and I won't be able to get in on Friday, so tomorrow had better be the day! But at least I know it's at the dealership, and I took a quick peek at it in the lot. My family figured there was good news when I arrived home all smiles.
I also saw a LB/W in the lot there and wondered if it was yours -- guess not!
Man! Rough break on that. Hopefully they'll fix it quickly, and you'll score a free accessory. I'd go for the iPod interface (cuz it's expensive, not cuz I really want one.)

I have the Ipod interface on the dash front down low.... Do you mean the one for the upper glove box???
The dealer made it right and gave me some goodies for all my trouble!!!
I'm a happy Mini owner...
Excellent! Congrats. I'm still waiting on my replacement check from PenFed, with my car just sitting at the dealer waiting for me. PenFed's getting a call first thing tomorrow.
