All aboard the Western Highway (departed July 11)

Where the heck is she? According to Vessel Tracker, which is delayed so you pay for their service, she is anchored in Baltimore. We know that is no longer true.
But according to Marine Traffic, she doesn't exist. There is a Weser Highway, no T, which is in Emden right now. Western Highway is no longer an option in the drag down box.
Did our minis sink?

Hi Tex Susbo! If I am reading your config right, I am your MA.
If the VPC keeps cranking cars out like they have, you may have it before the end of the month (I'm talking 30-31st). It is going to be a mad house here with all of the deliveries at the end of the month. We have 36 cars on that ship. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Well, you're right. 24h delay on VesselTracker. Marinetraffic.com is limited to where they have coverage, and there's no coverage south of the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. Our best shot is watching whatever source there is for traffic at the Port of Charleston.
Here's what I've got so far: She's going to Union Pier at the Port of Charleston. Due in tomorrow (which we know). Here's their webpage, but I haven't found live info. I'll keep looking.

Not much, but better than nothing
I haven't had any luck finding her either. But, I did find this. . .

Not nearly as many ships showing, but I did see the Fidelo earlier, and she was in Baltimore a day or two before the WH was, so maybe we'll see the WH tomorrow.

So 36 Minis from the Western Highway are headed to Momentum Mini in SW Houston. I wonder how many trucks that takes? They are going to want to clear all of those off their books before the end of the month. I wonder if they can even do that considering they will likely only have a couple of days?

That 36 on one boat is an interesting stat. If we assume that most of the cars on that boat are either week 27 or week 28 production cars (call that 1.5 weeks' of sales), Momentum of Houston alone sold almost 100 cars in June!
That's alota Minis.
I too would hope they want those sales complete in July (sold in June, delivered in July makes for a nice inventory turn number). That's good news for me I hope!

It was fun, everybody. We'll all still be Jonesing for a bit. We should post up a thread of Week 27-28/WH alumni with their MINIs. If someone starts such a thread, let us know here!
Be careful!

We are all now on US soil. The Western Highway has just cleared the Charleston harbor area and is back out to sea.
