Buzzin,
Looks like I will be on it (I certainly hope so.) My clubman was complete on the 12th but not exactly sure if it is at the port yet. It has been released to the carrier (I guess to get to the port.) Otello sails tomorrow (15 July) and since my VIN is not showing up in the WW system yet...I'm thinking I'll be waiting for the Fedora. Oh well, what's another week? btw, all caps is shouting in the online world. My clubman will join me in Sarasota, FL when it get's here. My sig has a pic of my current MC (non-stretched version.) Happy enough to buy another one.

Found out I made the Otello. 2nd to last car loaded. Good luck on the Fedora!

Cheers,
Peter

I just found out that I missed the Otella yesterday and I was bumped to the Fedora. OMG, another week of waiting.

My MA says that the car should be at the dealer and ready within a week of it getting to the Port of New York so I guess I should not complain too bitterly.

Anyone else joining us on this cruise?

Webcam of The Solent (someone try to get a screen cap of the ship!)
The two lines pointing upward from "Ryde" show the webcam's viewing area. Southhampton is off the screen, to the Northwest, about a screen's worth of scrolling.

I'm jealous. I completed on the 11th and am scheduled to be on the Fedora . Was told probably last week in July, which looks like its going to be the first week in August now... sigh, oh well.

Changed to the Figaro

I got bumped to the Figaro which goes directly to New York (no stop in HAilfax yay!) It does not got to Baltimore or Savannah.

I gained back five of the seven days I lost getting bumped off of the Otello on Monday

Time to find the Figaro thread!

I KNOW I AM GOING CRAZY! I JUST ORDERED A PRIMA CAR CARE BUNDLE FROM DETAILERS PARADISE AND I HAVEN'T EVEN PICKED UP THE CAR YET. MY WIFE IS GETTING WORRIED ABOUT THIS STRANGE BEHAVIOR. MINI SHOULD BE IN SOUTHHAMPTON TODAY! THEN ON TO HALIFAX

Ok, I'm slightly confused. When I look at : http://www.ais-live.co.uk/AIS%20Live...uthampton.html
I don't see the fedora there(when the map is set to satellite view)
Unless the marker they show for it is just north of it. There is currently a ship about 50 yards or so south of the Fedora marker. Think that is the Fedora? It would make sense being that there is no other ship there

The satellite view is not current... only the markers are current. It's just like Google Maps; the sattelite view could be months or years old.

Ah, that makes sense, not sure why I didn't think of that:D

I wish we could tap into gov't satellites to track this ship!:D

The bad news is that the Fedora is still moored.

The good news is that my MINI got loaded at 21/07/2008 16:45 uk time and mine is headed for NY, and mine would have been the second to last group of cars to be loaded, so it should be shipping out fairly soon.

Can anyone locate this ship? I've checked the two tracking sites I know about and can't find it anywhere?

Where on earth is Fedora?

I am pretty sure we can't track them (at least I have not been able to track) the ships once departed from Southampton. My new MCS is on the Figaro, scheduled to arrive Sat. 7/26 at NY. Looks like the Fedora departed 7/21 from Southampton. I tried the sailwx site and it couldn't indicate where the Figaro is located. Frustrating eh?
