Excited Old Man
Hello All:
I haven't been this excited about an automobile in a long time. I sold my Marauder and ordered a MINI Cooper S and can hardly wait. That's quite a size change!
I'm not really sure what options I got and that too should be a surprise. The .com versus the .ca MINI sites seem to have different options in their packages. The MINI has made it to Halifax and gone into BMW limbo, but I should see it in a week or two.
Way back when, I had an Austin 1100 and loved it. I hope to see some of "that" in the new MINI.
Once again Hi, and I look forward to our dialog.
Brian

Where it got confusing was the MINI.ca information vs the dealer's option list. The MINI.com site seems to have a different set of options in the packages. The MINI.ca packages uses the word "includes" for the listed options.
I'm reasonably sure I got everything I wanted but I hope there may be some pleasant surprises; besides the MINI itself!
The MINI was on the Elektra and it was fun tracking it.
Cheers,
Brian

Weird Things are Happening
Good Day:
I’m starting to spell funny; tyres, wings, bonnets, and boots. I picked up the car on Friday and it is even more than I expected. I’m thrilled with it.
I had one minor disappointment at the dealer; I had paid for the Comfort Access and it wasn’t in the MINI. The dealer was very apologetic and refunded us double the option price. After reading about it, it wasn’t a deal breaker and not a must have option for me!
I’ve spent most of the weekend figuring out the options and most of the functionality.
