Congratulations on all the new completed and about-to-be-completed MINI's!! Mine was finished yesterday, the 14th. But its not showing up on the WW schedule (my last one was booked on a ship the day before it was built), so I'm probably coming over on a K-line ship. I am in California, but ordered thru a dealer in Texas so I think that means the car will be dropped off in Charleston - most likely K-line boat is the Southern Highway, leaving Southampton on 8-22 and arriving in Charleston on 9-4. Still much better than the November/December delivery dates the CA dealers were quoting.

I don't know if this link will remain good but here's a tracking site for that ship: http://www.aisliverpool.co.uk/showsh...mmsi=352218000
My wife thinks I'm possessed, talking about shipping lines and spending too much time at the computer obsessing over our new baby. But that's what NAM is for, right? It's like group therapy.

I guess I am another 33er! Been looking at OL and it still says scheduled for production. Caught on to ASKMINI and Friday evening it said it was in paint shop. Visited the dealer today and the sales manager checked and he said it had been signed over to a shipping company.
He said typically 2-3 days in port, 13 days sailing, 2 at VDC and 2 for truck from South Carolina.
Ordered a "08 "S" in DS/B, black checked cloth, sport, LSD, MFSW and armrest.

I've tried many times putting my VIN into the tracking site for WW Lines but nothing. I just (monday morning) checked the OL for the status and it is now listed as "en route" so I know it's at sea but unsure of which vessel. Since the OL is about 2~3 days behind I can assume that my MINI possibly went out on Friday on the "Carribean Highway" which shows up on the K line shipping schedule. that would be the reason the Vin did not show up on the WW lines website.
OH WELL at least it's on the way should be in SC by the end of August
I'm way to old to be this impatient, I'm sick of surfing the web looking at MINI pic's and video's I wanna get on the road. I'm within 10 min of all the mountain roads you could want.......................

I'm in the *cough* "same boat". My MINI was at the port on the 13th and this morning OL shows up as "en route". I think it's a good bet that our guys are on the Caribbean Highway.

I confirmed today that my MINI sailed on the 15th, that should be on the"Caribbean Highway" due in charleston SC on 28 Aug. My MA said that it takes about a day to get from the port to BMW mfg. VDC and only about 15 minuites to get to the dealer and only about 5 min. for me to get to the dealer from work........................OK I'm getting excited
I could be riding by the end of the month

I"m a week 33 knucklehead too. My Dudley is on the Patriot. And it's taking forever to get across the Pond. I assumed once the car reached the VSC it would only be a matter of a week until I picked-up the car. You guys are bumming me out. At least I might have time to pay a little more down on my trade-in.

Just got word from my MA - the Patriot docks in Jersey City, NJ and unloads on the 26th. Still no info regarding how soon I'll get the car after that but we're getting closer.
Thank God I didn't do a European Delivery deal with my new car. Can you imagine trading in your old car, going to Europe for a couple days of driving your newly purchased car, flying home then having to wait like this for the boat to get in with your car? I guess you'd have to get a loaner in the meantime. I had no idea modern ships were this slow.

The Patriot was scheduled to arrive in NYC (jersey City) today and leave later the same day, but the tub is taking a long time to make it across the Atlantic. Still scheduled to arrive today, but now she isn't leaving for Baltimore until the 27th. It still looks like the 31st into Charleston. This is worse than waiting for the wife to give birth. Agonizing!!!
