Greetings All from the new Kid on the block
Hello from North Western South Carolina, my first introductory post on this forum.
I'm new to the world of Mini's, so new that I just got my production number about 24 hours ago. My Chili Red/black S has not been born yet, but am expeting delivery the last week of Sept..
My current ride (daily driver) is a 92 Miata, hidden in my garage is a 1988 Guards Red Porsche 911 Targa (dream car) which I take out any play with on the weekends, if it's not too hot (a/c not working).
I developed an interest in Mini's about 6 months ago, but because at the time I did not want to spend that much money I bought the Miata, which is a great driving little car...............Fast forward to last friday, after thinking about it for a while, I went to the local dealer in Greenville, SC and made the mistake of driving both the "justamini" and the "S" model, I was very impressed with both of them. And after building dozens of Mini's online and reading all I could handle from all over the internet, I could not stand it anymore and took the plunge yesterday. The S model won out because of the extra HP................gotta have it.
Lookin forward to my first run through the mountains this fall.
Later................KC
