Hmmmmmm. Now that is an interesting combination. You make sure that the criminals' confessions are in proper English prose?

Anybody get a ship yet? I checked the WW line and there is a ship headed to NY on 10/1 and one on 10/4. Hopefully it is one of those and not 10/9. I don't think my nerves can handle it.

All Aboard the Isolde!!!

Just checked the Wallenius Wilhelmsen (WW) site: Syd is booked on the Isolde, and will depart soon for Port Hueneme!! here is the WW link so U can check:

http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/

Just enter yr VIN# in the "auto cargo" tracking option and it should give U the details!

Outstanding!! went deeper into the WW site, here's Isolde's schedule:

leaves SH 9/29
arrives Galveston TX 10/11
arrives Panama Canal (Manzanillo) 10/15
arrives Port Hueneme 10/23

Dunno why it is going to Galveston unless it's unloading cargo to help after H Ike

You all must have brought me luck. Mine just showed up on the Fedora as well. While I never much cared for the hats (tooooo many bad associations with my Italian-American heritage) I think I LOVE this ship.

Okay, now I'm sad...mine isn't showing up on the WW site - still says 'no tracking info available...' Is there any way to check the K line, or do you need to go thru the dealer?

Which port is your baby headed for? If you are an English PhD like 'wandrur' then please read "To which port is your Mini destined?"

Different kind of rhetoric...

The Aristotelian sense of all of the available means of persuasion is a popular one, though Plato largely criticized teachers of rhetoric (sophists) of simply teaching manipulation tools rather than teaching the students how to best contribute to society. I'm certainly a large supporter of Plato's critique. However, I recently read an expression and definition of rhetoric that I absolutely adored: "Rhetoric...should be a study of misunderstanding and its remedies" (I.A. Richards, 1938).

For the Isolde folks, I don't see why you wouldn't have your cars by halloween. If the ship leaves today, add on 2 weeks, then possibly (hopefully) a few days at the VDC and then 3 days at your dealership and then thats that!

the Fedora leaves on the 1st, arrives the 10th, I think we should be ready for pick up anywhere from the 17th and up.

Now I know why I became an engineer. Still not sure what rhetoric means but if you get me the blueprints, I can build you one.

Keep checking the WW website. Mine finished the 26th and showed nothing early this morning. A few hours later it was showing as shipping on the Fedora.
