2009 JCW Support Thread

I thought I'd throw this together and see who out there is going through the same pain that I am. My 09 JCW Hardtop finished production today, but I still have about a month til it gets here. The pain may become unbearable. The only thing I can do to ease the pain is sacrifice my current car to the want ads.

You don't have it nearly as bad as me. I'm still waiting for an allocation spot at my dealer. I'm next, but I'm hoping to see it before Christmas!

I'll bet you guys have a Week X Support Group thread. All the pain of waiting can be shared there with your other Week Xers.

Thanks Dad!!!

I'll make sure to message you each time I want to make a post to make sure you are personally comfortable with it.

It's like if we opened a thread that was JCW Owner's Club, you would pop in and say that I should post in the Laser Blue owner's club.

I was trying to be helpful so you could reach a community of like individuals. I started a week 32 support groups and it has reached over 1500 posts. I'm sure there's one like it for yours.

But I will make it a point to not comment or respond on your posts again. This is the second time you've been acerbic in a thread I've been in. I will make it a point not to rub you the wrong way again, so don't bother to respond. I'll do you a favor by unsubscribing from this thread and not bothering you. That way you don't have to worry about me again.

BTW: in the future you might try the search engine. There's already a JCW Owners thread.

Well worth the wait. REALLY!!!!

You guy's waiting for your JCW to be sent over will be happy when you get in it and drive it. I was lucky, mine was sitting on the showroom floor at Downtown Mini in Orlando. I traded my Corvette in and drove it away the next day.I could have had it the same day but dealer threw in black sport stripes and Good carpet floor mats so I had to wait until the stripes were put on. My color choice was Chili Red with Black top. The only option I wanted was Sport Suspension. This one has both. This 2009 JCW was made for me. It just did not know it. I like it a whole lot. It is really nimble and quick. It is easy to get in and out of the sport seats. It has plenty of room inside and what is nice and a lot of people don't think of is the Clutch, Brake & throttle pedals are placed properly so you don't get a sore back and hips from driving this car like you do most FRD cars. It is just plain fun to drive. It is comfortable and just plain does everything a good hi-performance sports car should do. You all will be happy when you see and drive your's.

It doesn't get much better than a Corvette owner saying he not only loves his JCW, but traded it in for one.
