All aboard the Traviata Depart Southampton Sep 16 2008
Well, she is at Southampton and our MINI's are loading. Due to leave today sometime. Here is the tracking link for when she sails. But don't get your hopes up, last position report was June 9th 2008. Guess she doesn't want people to know where she is.

Hurry up Oct 6th at Port Hueneme.

My car was onboard and i was tracking Traviata all the way out of the port. Smooth sailing fellow motoring shipmates!!!!! Pretty soon the ship is going to disappear from AIS tracking and the only option will be just waiting for it to get to the next port. I haven't been able to get any kind of reliable tracking from www.sailwx.info (still shows the position from july).

Here is another site that could be used for tacking, the only thing is that is delayed by about 24h and the map is kinda small

Eleanor ( tenative name) is also aboard the Traviata. The ship is due at the Panama Canal on the 27th, you can look up the schedule for the ships at the canal web site, and into California on the 6th of Oct. I spent quite a bit of time a few days ago and found some links to ship tracking and forgot to bookmark them. Bummer. If I find them again I will post them... B

It took a couple of days for me to show up. l also made the mistake of not useing capital letters in my vin#. l see your production ended on 9/15. It is about a 60 mile train ride from Oxford to the port. So l hate to say it but you might have missed it If you did they have some great ways to pass the time in England l guess if the wait gets to unbareable go into Desert Mini and go for a test drive.........to Disneyland

Brower 23, it didn't get into port until a little before midnight Mon. night! Did it say loaded on vessel? It's on it way to, final port of call, Japan! l'd check with your MA and see if he knows that it's on for sure. It might take a bit for the shipping Co. to update the files. Good luck

I was just looking on the pancanal.com for the webcams there and there are a few. one of them is even hires and updates every 30 sec or so. Check it out, it is fun to watch how big ship go through the locks in real time. Cant wait to see Traviata go through.
