What Other Cars Have You Owned/What Did You Like Or Dislike About Them?
I always think that this is a fun post to get to know a little about people.
I'll start:
1. 1980 Datsun/Nissan 280zx
Liked: Styling, pretty decent 1st car
Disliked: Lack of power, and it was an automatic.
2. 1986 Nissan 300zx
Liked: More power, looked cool, leather, heated seats
Disliked: Another auto, not as fast as my friend's cars back then.
3. 1990 Nissan 240sx coupe
Liked: Handling! This was the first time that I realized corners ruled!
Disliked: Another auto, waaaay slow.
4. 1987 Nissan 300zx
Liked: First 5 speed! Much quicker than all prior cars
Disliked: Ugly maroon velour interior, replacing the clutch after 3 months
5. 1990 Toyota Celica gt hatch
Liked: Another 5 speed, more nimble like the 240sx, felt "quick"
Disliked: No a/c! Ex-Canadian cars were not good for midwest summers!
6. 1996 Honda Civic ex Coupe
Liked: First new car! 0 miles, tons of parts available.
Disliked: Very common car, "Ricer stigma" as it got later in the '90's
7. 1991 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd
Liked: First serious project car, bought blown up made a monster!
Disliked: Fragile dsm build quality
8. 1990 Honda Civic si hatch
Liked: Go-cart like handling, hatch was HUGE with the rear seats down.
Disliked: various electrical gremlins, see "Ricer stigma" above
9. 1997 Nissan 240sx se
Liked: Everything about it! Still wish I had this one!
Disliked: Still felt underpowered, having to sell it to buy our first house!
10. 1989 Nissan 240sx hatch
Liked: First autocross car, handled really well w/minor mods
Disliked: old car disease, ie: rusty, noisy, finicky.
11. 1991 Nissan Sentra Se-r
Liked: Fairly quick, good autox-er with mods
Disliked: faded "red" paint job
12. 2003 Subaru wrx
Liked: Pretty much everything, except for so-so gas mileage.
Disliked: Not much. Sold this one to minimize debt, kinda regret it now.
13. 1992 Mazda Miata
Liked: Great handling, top-down fun, good on gas!
Disliked: worn out leather and top that had seen better days.
14. 1995 Honda Accord ex coupe
Liked: Dead-nutz reliable, up until recently, (but with 213k, things wear
out.)
Disliked: Not much, other than being basically an appliance on wheels
15. 2003 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro
Liked: Nice car, power everything, quattro traction
Disliked: Boring! Pretty bad when the Accord was more involved to
drive!!!
16. 1995 Mazda Miata
Liked: See '92 miata above, but with more torque. Also, bought for $500, put $1200 in it, sold for $3200!!!!!
Disliked: No time to drive it! 2 years of ownership equaled 2800 miles
(bought as a weekend toy, not enough time to enjoy it.)
17. 2009 Cooper
*Still awaiting arrival....
Sorry for the long list. I've had a few cars in my 16 years of driving...

1996 mazda mx-6 ls (still own, until my mccs is delivered...)
dislike: stopped production in 1997...woulda bought another one in a heartbeat if mazda still made 'em. but there are some minor annoyances...paint quality is poor, scratches and chips pretty easily. frameless windows, gasket integrity didn't last long. only 1 cup holder, oddly placed (left hand driver side). darn near everything is a special order for maintenance and repairs...including air filter.
like: pretty much everything else. great car. great body type/style. no major problems. rides like a dream. handles great. gets better than advertised mpg (~28-30mpg on highway). excellent acceleration, especially in turns. fun as heck to drive. great mixture of looks, performance, and practicality.

I haven't owned that many, in 28 years of driving. (Before the MINIs that is.)
1987 Fiat Panda 750l.
Like: Cheap, basic transportation
Disliked: Only 4 speed, only a radio
1985 Lancia Y10 Fire
Like: More sporty and well appointed than the panda on same basic platform (also had 5 speeds and a casette)
Dislikes: I can't think of anything
1993 Honda Civic DX (actually the wife's car)
Like: Very reliable, economical
Dislike: Too big, wouldn't die.
2004 MINI Cooper
Like: Its a MINI!!!!!
Dislike: Only 5 speed, tiny mirror, pathetic sunshades. Not very economical.
2005 MINI Cooper-S
Like: Its a MINI!!!, but faster. (And 6 speed, bigger mirror and auxiliary sunshade.) iPod integration.
Dislike: Drinks gas.
2007 MINI Cooper
Like: Its a MINI!!!, but more economical, and even better than before. (And 6 speed etc)
Dislike: Annoying iPod adapter.
2008 MINI Cooper-S
Like: Its a MINI!!!, but faster and more economical. Bluetooth phone integration
Dislike: ????

Wow! Um, I have had a few cars as well... not many as nice as some of these, but here it goes.
1984 Cavalier - Had it in college. It was fine.
1990 Sunbird - First car (still in college). I loved it! First stick.
1987 Saab - A tank! Loved it. Quirky. However, non-turbo version. Really slow.
1996 Cavalier - Fine for not making much money and getting around. Like a lot of entry level cars, the seats kill my back.
2002 Trailblazer - Very nice SUV. Great versatility. Transmission needed work once after only 30k miles and then started to go again a year later. 6 way power seat was nice for the longer drives. Great in the snow (I preferred the 4 wheel vs. all wheel).
2001 Sentra SE - Awesome car. Good performance, though slow off of the line. Excellent handling, good gas mileage. I have had this one for 8 years. No mechanical issues at all. The paint is junk. So are the seats! I've just gotten tired of it...
2007 Equinox - nice vehicle. I miss some of the extras that were on the Trailblazer, but this is a better around town drive. More like a car than a truck. OK gas mileage, but nice when you pack up the whole family for a weekend trip with way too much stuff!
Next - 2008 MCC... Pick it up this coming Saturday. Is it Saturday yet?

Let's see... Not too many cars at all:
1. 1987 Honda CRX, AT
Likes: Sporty, really great looking car for its day (dare I say, timeless), mid 30's MPG combined, great handling and parking because it was even smaller than a new MINI.
Dislikes: It was not very safe, weighed around 1,800 lbs, had virtually no safety features apart from seat belts.
2. 1999 Honda Civic HX Coupe, MT
Likes: 40 MPG combined, VTEC-i engine was both more powerful and more economical than the DX engine, good looking car, amazing build quality, owned it for four years with absolutely no issues before giving it to my sister who drove it for another four with no issues, just amazing little car.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about the HX is that Honda stopped making them, and I'll never understand why...
3. 2004 Mazda6i 4DR, MT
Likes: It really looks great with the sport package, BOSE audio system, handling was very good, engine was really well balanced throughout the power curve, it just felt good.
Dislikes: I bought it in a moment of weakness when I really wanted the Honda Accord Coupe, turning radius was just awful, I never felt that it was really me, combined MPG's were only upper 20's, both local dealers were asses.
4. 2007 Honda Civic LX Coupe, AT
Likes: Agressively good looking, 36 MPG combined, handles well, our first car with some more passive safety features, I love Honda!
Dislikes: Steel wheels, it's my wife's car.
5. 2008 MINI Cooper, MT
Likes: It's a MINI, it's a statement, handling, full complement of passive safety features and unmatched active safety features, 40 MPG combined and it does not have a problem getting out of it's own way.
Dislikes: So far, initial quality really has been a mixed bag, the lack of any real gauges besides the tach is not acceptable (idiot lights are not a substitute), SUV drivers seem to absolutely despise it (wait, maybe that's not a dislike).

Calamente,
You just reminded me that I left one car out! (I know, the amount of cars I've had is a little ridiculous...)
Between #6 and #7 there was this:
1988 Honda CRX si
Likes: Tons of fun, economical, handled great, looked great!
Dislikes: Typical Honda cancer on the back wheelwells, that's about it...
